It start to bang your head every hour or day when you reach 40 [more or less], perhaps some time is needed which will force you to calculate mostly the positives ignoring negatives, and eventually feel happy or satisfied I guess.

When you reach 40, you should be all at ease with what there is, what was and what will be. You learn to enjoy. It's when you are young that you tend to ask all sorts of foolish questions, like I did when I was in high-school:
