Default Alhamdulillah

I need a way to tell everyone how great Allah is, without having to go into details.

Alhamdulillah.

Please pray to Him. He knows what you're asking for. He may not give you everything you want...but He has his own way of giving. He may not give you something because of many reasons - may be getting something you wanted is not necessarily the best thing you should have. Allah knows best. Accept what He gives...and never forget to thank Him by remembering to thank Him everyday, and doing charity to make His people happier.

Alhamdullilah.

I am grateful to Allah for everything I have in my life.
Rather than wondering what I dont, I always try to realise what I have, and thats a plenty.

Whatever He gives is a blessing. I truely believe that everything that happens, happens for a reason and it all comes from Him. And Allah knows best.

May Allah have his mercy and blessing on all of us.

Btw, Kabir bhai, 1+1= 3 ?

No bhais, that's not the case. It would have been the case unless we had a mishap back in March, when we lost our unborn baby.

I'm happy because there's finally something to celebrate about. Not yet a baby.

Subhanallahi wa bi hamdihi - Glory belongs to Allah and praise
wa adada khalkihi - and by the multitude of His creations (# of creation - imagine that number)
wa ridha nafsihi - and by His pleasure (this is also unmeasurable)
wa jinata arshihi - and by the weight of His throne (which is suppose to be larger than the heavens and earth combined)
wa madada kalimatihi - and by the extent of His words (oceans = ink, trees = pens, bring similar oceans still won't be able to finish explaining).

Sorry to hear your loss.

Have faith in Allah. Satan is always there to misguide us in many ways. Creating doubts of existence of Allah/God is one of them.

Hope and pray that, Allah will give us enough strength to follow his way of life till our last breath.

Ameen !

Lemme guess it has something to do with money.

either 1)you got a promotion at work, somebody quit and u got that position etc eetc -- giving you a HUGE BUMP in salary
2) you won the lottery
3) something happened in your life that led to FINANCIAL GAIN.

tell me I am wrong and i will never come to this forum again. and don't just NO - stakes are high - so you say exactly what it is that you are happy for... if it's not MONEY... I am gone.

Kabir like I said you have to detail it. Otherwise my promise isn't valid. I knew you were gonna write "it's not money" even if it is.

So you see if you don't wanna see me here... you need to detail your elation.

btw I am not going to hell like you. I am Noor-e-jinn. Heaven will be proud to have me!!

"who (the righteous) give to charity during the good times, as well as the bad times. They are suppressors of anger, and pardoners of the people. GOD loves the charitable." (3:134)

MashAllah, great thread K. Accepting the good is one of the best manifestations of true piety. Piety as the combination of willful submission, Iman, Taqwa and all intent and practices that keep the light alive in our hearts irrespective of circumstantial flux. That light is GOD's grace and nurturing it with all due effort and diligence benefits us as individuals and as useful and loving parts of our families, communities, nations and the world.

That said, heartbreaking to hear of your loss bro. All the prayer in the world for you and your wife. I wish I could take some of your pain and sorrow.
