They are going to pick a spinner for tomorrow's game. Spinners did well on this pitch in the last two games, and apparently the Scottish are weak against spin.

Scot's are in serious desperate mode. They hired Jurge, smart on their part. Not worried about Jurge spilling some new secret beans. More worried about the mind-game. I hope our players aren't crapping their pants by the thought of their ex coach airing all the dirty secrets.
We will be in choke mode. Just the idea of making it through to QF makes them too anxious/nervous. They play to not to blow it when they should be playing to win.

Ugh all this stat throwing of how Scotland never beat full-member team in odis (though we lost a t20 against them) makes me nervous

I said we'd post 275 vs AFG and we ended up with 267. Pretty close.
Today we'll post 300 (which means 285-290). Hope we get more, but not likely with our top order.

win it in the first innings.... thats what I want. If we are batting first I want us to set a total that would be extremely difficult to reach (330+) or if we bowl first, restrict them under 200.

even if we score 330+ or restrict them under 200 we cant be sure that we'll win

This would've been an NRR booster, now we don't need the damn NNR. We got NRR's baap- The Rain Point! So NRR pressure, play ease... Instead we might be scrambling for a W.

On the basis of points, this match isn't of great importance. The match against England will purely decide whether or not we qualify. However, in special cases like Bangladesh being able to beat New Zealand or England losing to Afghanistan, then the result of this match might become important.
No reason to take the scots likely as they can be deadly on their day and decimate us. I mean we lost to teams like Honk Kong and Afghanistan in the past. The thing we need to be wary about is the swing available for the Scottish pacers. Once we are able to negate that, I think we can win
I am nervous because our batsman aren't the best when the ball starts swinging. Afterall, even NZ sturggled a bit against Scottish bowlers. The key here is to play cautiously upfront. Thus Anamul and Tamim's tuk tuk will be of use.

I think restricting them under 200 will still be a bit tricky because there is always that chance of a collapse.
But if we score 330+ I doubt any associate team will be able to beat us. And we all know that scots should stumble against spin.

Hope the team will include Nasir instead of Mominul
[we need a lower order batter rather than top order extra one]
AND will include Arafat Sunny instead of Taskin
[whatever talent Taskin have WC shouldn't be a practice ground,
moreover Scot, Eng & NZ all are vulnerable to good spinners]
