If even half of the report is true, then our cricket is undoubtedly heading towards a dark future. It will be impossible for another Shakib, Tamim or Mushfiq to emerge from our future breed of cricketers.

The old saying, "Garbage in Garbage out" will reflect Bangladesh cricket. Soon Bangladesh cricket will embrace the fate of Kenyan cricket.

Alas! The cancer of Bangladeshi politics & its corruption will eventually destroy our cricket, like any other sector in Bangladesh.

Why are we so helpless and handicapped on the hands of our corrupted politicians? Why they can't at least spare our cricket, the only sport and the only source that gives me and many of us some pleasure and happiness even at this age!

You are judging him before he gets a chance to be elected and do work for the people. While I agree that he should not have come to politics before retiring from international cricket but what you are doing here is putting a label on him. Like he is camping under AL banner and hence he is bad.

Nothing wrong in good people coming into politics; and AL is basically only party remaining these days in BD. He can not open a new party all on a sudden. I say it's the right step. I would have done the same if I was in his position.
