This is a close game with DL coming into play.

Team is really in a bad shape. Top order batsman continues to have brain farts even after so many years. Easy chances being missed on the field. Team also doesn’t looked pumped up.

This kind of mediocrity will be exposed when playing away with top tier teams.

I remember many years ago in the 90s when Bangladesh was playing qualifications matches for the world cup, they were playing Ireland. The game was crucial for both teams.

They had brought helicopters to dry the field. Also many of the Bangladeshi supporters were helping to dry the field.

According to the media the Irish were over acting about fielding and slipping and sliding to get the umpires to call of the game.

Cant remember the result but Ireland never qualified for that World Cup

South African fans are now celebrating. Match called off. What a waste of time.

Really glad that I didn’t go today

It will be interesting to see if BD can clear 100 rating points with the annual ODI update.

Tamim seems like a passengar nowadays, not a single 50+ this year in this format

Tamim is becoming the Mashrafe of 2019. Hopefully, he regains his form soon. Liton will play like 1 or 2 good innings at the opening then go missing. He is better suited in the middle order.

still match result chance was better than Ireland lol

Also anywhere else Ireland would have lost the home swinging condition advantage, they needed to win 3-0 so its understandable

The more north you go in the UK the wetter the conditions are. Agreed in Ireland the chances of a wash out game is higher. No wonder rainbows are more prominent in Irish folklore perhaps.

The rains usually dont stay for too long in London generally and are brief IMO, although nothing like the rain in Bangladesh.

Currently sunny skies in London but again we might have rain later in the day as alot of clouds hanging about.

Fingers crossed

After annual update we are still ranked 7th with 97 points in ODI.

If BD lose next 2 matches against IRE they will lose like 8 points lol.

Does it even matter. It looks like the world Cup ranking is different either way so more Emphasis is given to that.

Also what the heck is happening with the Asia Cup? Is it happening or what's going on? I see in news that Pakistan's situation is in terrible condition now. No way any cricket will happen there

Really cold and cloudy conditions with slight rain early in the day.

Certain parts of Europe has gone through an extended period of cold and murky weather, which is made worse by the higher gas bills.

Should have a result InshahAllah.

Really need Liton Das and Shakib to play sensibly. I think we batted poorly and was extremely lucky Mushfiqur was dropped.

In hindsight glad that I didnt go to the Tuesday game as it got rained off and its a trek for me.

Would have gone with a battalion on Sunday but tickets got sold out for meaningless series.

In the past Bangladeshis tend to be a great crowd to watch cricket with. Saw the expats do dances of 4 chokka hoi hoi during breaks.

But alot of Sylethis tend to have so many unnecessary fights and arguments which doesnt get picked on the TV.

Match delayed but should start later.

Was watching the awful game in SL vs BD womens match. Jahanra Alam seems to be in the team just because of her looks and can speak relatively better English. To be honest most of them are crap anyways. The team was recently making some good results but like all Bangladeshi things can not sustain the positive momentum.

I think future Ireland matches should be held in June/July.

Game on and Bangladesh chose to field. I guess with the overcast thats the right thing to do.

BD Women lost the game. Good marka bowling and patla paikhana marka batting. This Jahanara Alam is like Tamim Iqbal taking up space.

Not trying to be sexist here, I tried watching the women WC, apart from very few players, it's a total garbage feast. The quality of cricket is like parar league games. I can see why women cricket isn't popular.

Nothing sexist at all, its the truth as womens cricket has no charm no intensity. We are however unlike the true sexist Sir Lankan commentator who recently got hit by all the negative comments after his on air gaffe.

But to be honest the BD womens team seem to be brainless
