Players that should not ever be in T20 ever

Title is self evident!

These following players should not ever play in T20 format --

Tamim -- seen enough of him. but just not right for t20. should only focus on ODI and Test
Shakib (??) - his batting has gone down the hill. bowling is very sporadic. might retain a spot coz of the virtue of being an AR. but can try out new players
Rubel - lacks brain
Abul - no comment
Mosaddek - perfect player for 70 SR. only use him in ODI and Test
Miraz - not a big hitter. and bowling leaves a lot to be desired.

Watch List

Litton/Sabbir/Soumya - give them few more matches and observe
Abu Jayed - Lacks consistency and soft medium pace is not ideal. But deserves some more matches
Mushy - has the ability to score quick runs but poor wk skills and lack of consistency.

Only Confirmed Spots

Riyad - should be the captain. and should bowl more.
Opu - doing well for now
Rony - doing well for now

Shakib got the experience. Tamim is a liability in T20 tbh

Guys like Mosad,Rubel,Abul should be banned.

Miraz could be in the squad, same for SOumya.

not sure about Shakib being confirmed spot. he is not delivering in either department. maybe a pure batsmen or bowler can provide more utility. he is half assing both jobs here.

we need a complete batch of new players who will revamp the structure and play a new brand of T20 cricket.

we can start from scratch. this new team will struggle at first but keep this 11 totally separate from the ODI/Test team. it will be very exciting and I for one will totally watch this new group (maybe also with a radical new jersey color). they will play with hunger and will have a lot to prove.

maybe keep Riyad/Shakib (?) for now to help them start and then they will walk away.

yea even at half realism, Shakib wont be dropped from this format. His 4 overs is actually pretty important. But I dont think he should be batting higher then Riyad in any games. Riyad should be batting at no.3 or 4.

The way it’s hard to get rid of unqualified directors from BCB it is the same with seniors players.

Do you really think anyone can drop Tamim? Shakib? Let’s say any of them seniors?

The whole system from BCB to team is run unprofessionally with lot of internal bias.

The reason why we don't have a specialized T20 team is because the BCB can save money on lodging and other costs by just reusing players from ODI/Test squad who have no business playing T20s in the first place.

No way BCB is gonna spend money on players like Mehedi just for a T20 series

that's only part of the problem.

players like tamim, mushy, shakib, riyad has been playing top level cricket for more than a decade. Each of these players have more experience than the entire Afg team combined (barring maybe Nabi). But Shahzad played better than all of them combined. No director, academy, A team can fix that.

It is time for completely new set of players. Time to create a new brand.

His economy today is 4 for 1 wicket.
He is by far our best T20 bowler, I dont understand how u can overlook that.

bpl is not the platform for that. What we need a domestic T20. Just about every country has one but us. Too bad Papon is too busy analyzing Shakib.

He was poor with the ball except today.

Shakib (having played in IPL, BBL, CPL, PSL) should lead from the front. Look at what Nabi did.

I believe he should resign from captaincy and let someone build the team in their own image.

To me, Soumya should open instead of Tamim. Give him another 4-5 matches.
Sabbir can stay, but he shouldn't bat at 3 as everyone's saying. He can be in the team purely because he is our only "power hitter", Can bat at 6 or 7.

8. Saifuddin / Afif / Ariful

Out of 2 openers, one should take the lead and utilize the powerplay period. It needs to be Liton. SS should play his natural game. No. 3 & 4 should be proper batsmen. 5 is a variable. 6, 7 & 8 should know to hit 4's & 6's. Shakib doesn't fit the role, but can't place him anywhere else. He deserves a sport purely as a bowler (+ Int'l experience).
