Wishing our tigers all the best. Would like.to see a great contest and exciting finish. Bangladesh's most successful format of late. Hope they carry their form from the NZ series over in this.

wow a zero score for design
Those who cannot figure out "complicated" stuff like coming up with a theme and attaching images should just let the others create the match threads. A good looking match thread gets the mood going and this is just lazy

I like this minimalistic, no-frills approach. I'd have done this: -

I echo Sohel and like this no frill match thread. Everyone should be able to open a match thread regardless of their ability to generate eye catching graphics.

Ajiara match thread nie kaijja.
My personal preference is for info - I could not care less for bling.
Give the useful info in summary, give the pertinent links, so that can go to post #1 and get pointers to whatever information is relevant to the match.
For example, at minimum
Who, where, when.
Links to coverage - say BanglaCricket coverage, CI coverage.
Links to commentary, or streams whenever available.
Now, whether you have an animated gif of a tiger mauling a lion that's just extra, it won;t get you extra credit but some will pat you on the back.
However, bling na thakle dhikkar deoar dorkar nai but info na thakle thapraiya ber kora uchit.

The team should be very confident going into this. SL is a pretty average team at the moment...with only Sanga and Dilshan (who is prone to mistakes) being real threats. And bowling wise...Malinga and Mendis are the biggest dangers. If we do not get scared of their players we should be fine. Because we've shown we can beat them comprehensively in the Asia Cup.

I think we should not create a match thread for just one single match and see what happens.
on the subject of designs to match threads. We are.not advertising this to anyone. I believe each BC member is restricted to how much resources they have (designs) .
If it were up to me to create a match thread I'll probably include useful info about the match like previews, quotes, strenghts, this day in cricket / BC,. Player stats, etc
Good luck to both teams in this match.

The team's comfort level should be much higher just because this is an ODI. Hopefully, this will the team's first win of this tour.

Just make the celebration thread, in Miraz bhai's word "eye-catching" ...
Good luck to you Roni and the Tigers

Naeem should play 'cos a top order of Tamim, Shamsur and Anamul is just too volatile and needs some stability in the form of Naeem at number 4. Anamul gets the nod as well as Mushy won't keep (according to Isam) which means Mominul has to sit out unfortunately. I am picking Gazi ahead of Riyad reluctantly with the hope that he produces a special performance under pressure when his place is under a lot of scrutiny.
Tamim
Shamsur
Anamul+
Naeem
Shakib
Mushfiq*
Nasir
Gazi
Mashrafe
Rubel
Arafat
