Good luck tigers. Utilize these limited test matches wisely. The way our "bondhus" are acting, test cricket may become a good bed time story for your kids..
Before that day comes, please give us a test win against a G8 team.
Thank you. .

I dont care how, but we need to win this Test. At any cost.
Possibly one of the last 2 Tests we are going to play in next 4-8 years.
Even the ZIM trip might be scrapped this year if ICC decides BD to play IC cup with associates.

I dont think the Lankan seam attack as good as the Kiwis seam attack. Their pace is ordinary, the surface usually does not assist any seam movement or a lot of bounce. Having said that, its dead winter! Mornings will be foggy and will have dew. It will be very hard to play the seamers. But see off the first of every day and the rest of the days will be a buffet for both batting lineups. Lot depends on Robiul who will have all the assistance to strike early.... Just needs to make use of it.

SL pacers are dangerous, probably not as consistent as NZ seam attack. eranga averages 34 now which obviously isn't outstanding but he's still solid and can be dangerous, lakmal still averages over 50 but he did bring it down quite a bit during the recent pakistan series so he's in form and at times he was as dangerous or perhaps even more dangerous than eranga. pradeep also brought his average down quite a bit and can bowl some really good spells. they've always had the talent but they pulled it together much better in the pakistan series, if they take that momentum into this series then they'll be bowling well and our batsmen should not underestimate them.

Biggest worry for me is the batting and bowling form of Shakib

Batting wise I think we will be ok. Now there is less pressure on Tamim and Sakib. All of our top 8 has the potential to shine i.e score a century, and we don't need all of them to click at the same innings.
Yes SL FBs are more promising than some people realize. I watched the SL vs PAK test matches, I was pleasantly surprised by their wicket taking capabilities. However thier spin attack is average at best.
They have some good young batsman but they are not invincible.
the only bad thing is we may not have the bowling strength to get 20 wickets if its dead wicket.
I have a feeling we will be doing something special in this series. So I am not that much worries about them.

Herath is a good spinner other than I'm not sure how strong their spin is. I to saw the pak tests eranga especially impressed at times, lakmal and Pradeep also did well.
For SL batting I think silva is pretty good, dimuth has talent but has struggled at this level, Mathews has a mental block with tons it seems but still scores quite heavily, chandimal is still finding his feet but looks pretty good so far, p.jayawardene is a very good cricketer both with bat and gloves.
Our batting should be good I hope. Tamim and shakib are questions but shamsur, marshsll, mominul and nasir have all shown some sort of good form in the BCL and with the possibility of having both riyad and sohag in the lower order the batting goes deep.
My team:
1 tamim
2 shamsur
3 marshall
4 mominul
5 shakib
6 mushy
7 nasir
8 riyad
9 sohag
10 robiul
11 al amin
Depending on pitch conditions maybe swap riyad for rubel but I'm not sure there would be much difference regardless of conditions plus riyad gives a greater opportunity of more runs than rubel does. Despite razzak being a specialist I think riyad has shown more than he has with the ball at test level, also better with the bat.

i think riyad has a better chance of taking wickets than lala, he's also in better form than razzak is atm, plus he potentially adds much more with the bat.

wont matter if we win, Zim won a test and still they are in the same hot water as us
so its better that we forget about the icc draft proposal and enjoy the test

I seriously don't think that this is our last test. ICC can't pass this stupid proposal and hence we will continue to be a proud cricket nation. We will win inshallah at the meeting.
Go Tigers! You have given us so many proud days. We laughed for you, we cried for you, we had mix days for you. You are the only hope of this sad naiton. Make us proud again!
We are doing as much as we can to help you, to prevent the status taking off you. We will support you forever. Salute!

Looking forward for a good interesting series... don't know how many years after this series we will be able to see our boys again in the white shirts.
