Good Luck Nepal, in 10 years time i hope you guys will emerge as the next Asian Cricket Test Team
Your cricket team reminds me of our 1997 ICC Trophy wining team
I'll root for Nepal against Afghanistan
i wan an avid supporter of afgans but some afgan trolls in cricinfo and some of their player's attitude has made me give up on them

Afgans are stronger than Nepal but I would also root for Nepal when they play against Afgans. Some Afgani players are snobby and really deserve no support.
Wish Nepal all the best. Hope they will become a formidable side very soon

Stronger with size and power. These Nepalese are more talented. Testament to the number of runs they scored. That chinese-looking (I may be wrong) guy, does give it a good bowl.

I've become a big fan of Nepal cricket from what I've seen in this T20 WC. TBH, some of their player should get a chance to play in our domestic cricket rather than Unknown Pakistanis and Afghans.

Not really! Bating wise Nepal is much stronger than Afghans. Spin is par and Seam is where Nepal is behind. Equal imho but Nepali's are more talented and skilful than Afghans who are nothing but "jodi laiga jay" batsmans.

I have seen Nepal playing Afghanistan a few times. I believe, it's going to be a win for Afghans though I might support Nepal. The qualifier for this tournament was held in UAE where Nepal did well. But the ODI WC qualifier was held in NZ where Nepal didn't do well. The reason is simple - lack of pacers.
The cricket craze is everywhere in the subcontinent - at different levels and is expressed in different ways. It's like Latin America of Cricket ... but with that players quickly become national heroes and become arrogant. I hope Nepalese will stay out of arrogance ...

Just a stone's throw away from Dinajpur and with deep historical connections to our Golden Age, I love our neighbors. A fine and beautiful people we have so much in common with. The Nepali students and professionals in Dhaka and elsewhere have an impeccable reputation for good reason, and the fact that many of them fought side by side with our Muktijoddhas just sweetens the love.
Of course I'll root for Nepal over Afghanistan.

go nepal! terrific country, passionate people (about their cricket), i saw some talent there, some of their batsmen have the beginnings to be really good batsmen and they have some solid spinners, pace department is a bit weak unfortunately.

Nepal finishes with 141/5. Now let's see if they can stifle the Afghani batting.

If Nepal can hold onto catches, there is a good chance they will win. I hope the Afghans try to win by improving their NRR and give away wickets in the process.
