Have France overcome their internal strife and are finally ready to do justice to all the talent in the team, especially without Ribery? One can never know. My heart's with Los Catrachos but I think France will win this 1-0.

The Swiss believe themselves to be at the cusp of becoming an elite team and I don't share that assessment. Traditionally, Ecuador play the most non-Latin soccer in the continent and I don't see this turning out to be anything other than a 0-0 draw.

Muktijoddha S on steroids-0 Sheikh Russell KC on steroids-0. Ecuador have a player by the name of Guagua and my little nephews and nieces watching the game can't stop laughing.

Poor last ball in followed by a poor strike on goal.

Montero is very good but always has one touch too many for the modern game. He needs triangulated support around him and a finisher trying to get open.
