Aminul Islam Biplob and Rishad Hossain are with the team in Chattogram as net bowlers, to provide batters practice against legspin.
Rajin Saleh working with the team as the fielding coach.
Jamie Siddons, the new batting coach (and prospective head coach after SA tour) is still isolated in his hotel room with Covid-19. He is reported to be asymptomatic and may be allowed to join the team from Feb 22, right before the start of the ODI series.

My preferred XI for ODI:
Tamim
Liton (wk)
Shanto/Joy
Shakib
Mushfiq
Yasir
Riyad
Miraz
Taskin
Fizz
Shoriful
My preferred XI for T20I:
Liton (Wk)
Munim
Afif/Naim
Shakib
Mushfiq
Yasir
Riyad
Miraz/Mahedi
Fizz
Shoriful
Shohidul/Nausm/Taskin
* Yasir needs to make his spot permanent. He has both the technique and big-hitting capability for the lower middle order. Needs to develop as a finisher which Shamim couldn't do.
* For the first 2 ODIs, I'll stick with Shanto at #3. If he fails in both matches or if we go 2-0 up, then try Joy in the 3rd match.
* For T20's I wish they had picked Mrittunjoy. He is a wicket-taking bowler, and also a pretty good hitter.
* Affif over Naim, as I feel the former one is a bit more consistent and has better strike rotation ability.
* Assuming, Taskin is also a part of the future Test Squads, I'd want to rest him for T20Is as much as possible. That's why I picked Shohidul or Nasum (for spin-friendly wicket) over Taskin.

I am very happy to see Miraz and Afif won us the match instead of the regulars. This will give them plenty of self belief for future matches. Espacially a win like this

Wow - just wow.
Afif and Miraz always 2 of my favourites but shouldn't Afif got the MoM, it doesn't matter really. Very well played

To be honest, Miraz lacks the ability of power hitting. I doubt he would be successful in long term unless he develops that aspect of the game. This is no longer the 90's, teams dont get to chase 230 score every day. I have always maintained that Liton was special even when everyone was trolling him after each game, I have the same feeling about Munim Shahriar too (he will be successful). And in the long run, Joy and Miraz wont do much for our batting although one performed well in NZ and the other today against Afghan.

I wrote this as a sarcastic remark when we were 28/5 against afghanistan. I guess it actually turned out to be incredible batting at the end.

What a comeback! Our last Test win and the win today are encouraging signs that we are not as dependent on the four seniors as we used to be.
Hope the top 6 will get their acts together on pacer friendly wickets soon though. Perhaps they focused too much on preparing for spinners, forgetting AFG has couple of good pacers as well?

Joy and Miraz need to be pushed up the order 4/5 in one-day format when Mushy/Riyadh retires.

Unfortunately, there is no new format. The forum is dead. Has been for 2 years.

does anyone here know if nordvpn unblocks rabbithole or not? It seems like they have a server in india but not in bd. some google search reveal expressvpn has bd server but currently nord vpn pricing is so cheap. I was gonna buy to release rabbithole access. But i am afraid that if theey do't have bd server then i dont think it will unblock unless rabbithole is acceble from india as well. any thougths?

I take back what I said - I have no wish to see Tamim playing a Test innings during an ODI. Either he needs to put better effort scoring runs or get out!

Tamim should retire from ODI as well, he simply doesn't cut the modern day LOI cricket anymore.

Man I am so happy Liton finally worked out whatever his demons were. If this continues, he transformation look threatening at top of the order.
BD is a strong top class ODI team winning machine.
