Default Obama: Friend or Foe
How many of you think that Obama is a friend to the muslim world? How many of you think Obama is a sneaky and harmful to muslim world? Remember, I didn't give my opinion.

Obama is neither a friend nor a foe. He's the President of USA. He doesn't take the Muslim world or any other world in to consideration when he makes a decision. He serves the People of USA.

And don't automatically assume that just because Bangladesh is a Muslim country, Banglacricket is a Muslim forum. If one were to look objectively, this topic is as random as, say, Repercussions and economical ramifications of falun-gong in rural China...

"American policy towards Muslims", we can decide on that as a friend or a foe. Obama is representing those policies. He has changed many but yet to change the policy against Muslims. Occupation in Iraq still goes on though the troop level has decreased, Bombing in Pak Afgan border still goes on, profiling is still part of US internal policing, expansion of settlements is still going on by Israel with US taxpayers dollars as grants.

I think he showing more empathy and understanding of the muslim world.

But philosophically, US interest does not have to conflict with interest of other countries. There are win/win solutions to many problems of the world.

More sympathy makes Mr Obama a lesser evil but nothing else. And US interests does collide with other contries too.
