These recycled Hindi ads into Bangla is quite pathetic. Its lazy by the company and the lips dont sync either.

I remember in the late 80s and early 90s there used to be a time before the evening news when people would wait to watch the flurry of local ads which were very good and none of this Indian garbage.

The way this test match is going, looks like it will be done tomorrow. Poor shakib, could have actually went to play IPL. I don't understand why KKR made a song and dance about it for 1 more week? lol

He (and Liton) will not only miss this week, he would miss out most of May for the ODI series against Ireland.

That's the main reason for playing sports? unlike other careers, you get to bank on maybe 10 (to max 15) years. Why would they not want to bank in the $$$?

Unpopular opinion (maybe to some) but I am glad Shakib didn't want to participate in IPL (forced/or not). Seeing what happened to Williamson, these leagues leave little time to recover from each match thus a higher injury rate. This would have been probably the last WC Williamson played, possibly the same for many players currently playing in IPL - and the same probably with Shakib.

I guess it comes down to money vs getting that last opportunity to lift the WC which matters more than some IPL trophy.

I don't think shakib is that delusional, he knows there is no opportunity of lifting the WC while playing for Bangladesh

Our ODI team isn't as bad as you are portraying it to be. Also, most batsmen in the team seems to be in some form also. We are definitely top 5-6 ODI team in the world at the moment. I'd actually be surprised if we don't play the semi-final this time around.

Well done Ireland. Don’t think you could have done this well with any other Test squad.

Ireland putting up more fight in their 4th or 5th test than Bangladesh do in 50 tests put together.

They'll probably lose but well played to them.

Yeah I got this type of replies before the 2011 2015 and 2019 world cup and we all saw what was the result so no we are not a 5-6 odi team. We are ranked at the exact position where we are suppose to be and that's number 7. The two teams below us are WI and SL and among them SL just have that big team mentality and might bring their A game in the world cup. If I had to put my life on it I would back SL over us to make it to semi regardless their current ODI record

Bangladesh does not play against opposition teams. The game is actually between Shakib and co vs Papon/BCB.

Yeah teams like SL are like NZ, brings their A game during big matches. I can easily see one of Matt Henrry or Shipley ripping through Indian top order and sending our friend Vahroone crying again.

However, I do like to think we are a much better balanced side compared to 2015 or 2019 especially in subcontinent.

Yeah I also think so we are a better odi side now than 19..but are we mentally also strong? Usually we become mental midgets in a high stake game

By the way let's not give any gay homo any attention..there are only couple of us left in the forum let's just discuss about our team between us

I also urge practising people to ignore filthy comments and ridiculing these people.

This kind of behaviour makes me appreciate the virtues of our culture.

I actually feel pity for this sad human being. If he is representing his nation and his family background , then it gives us an ugly and foul picture I am sorry to say

We are definitely a better side than the 2019 squad because in the past 4 years, some juniors are actually winning us matches all by themselves without much help from the big 4. Which wasn't the case a couple of years back.

Donald: 'No idea why Shakib didn't bowl enough'

Shakib should just retire from Test cricket to save himself from all those dramas. The Shakib-Papon dramas are detrimental for rest of the team as well. Bangladesh Cricket need to move on.
