Who schedules a test match to start on a monday?

This is rather bizarre

Defeat in Chittagong would see Australia will drop to sixth on the ICC Test rankings, their lowest position on the table since it began in 2003. A win or draw would slip them down from fourth to fifth. Bangladesh will climb from ninth to eighth with a win or a draw.

'In the name of my Lord - Allah, I start my journey of ascension (perfection)"

Nice! Clean, uncluttered and informative match thread.

Best of luck to both teams.
Hoping for a good, competitive match of cricket, good weather, good pitch and a good crowd.

I really hope we win the next test also. Hetmyer just cracked am unbeaten century at more than a run-a-ball in the practice match. He will most likely replace Kyle Hope.

I don't know how BD will fare in England. For one, their spinners will be less effective. They need to invest in the pacers. For the umpteenth time, Walsh should be replaced.

I'll drop Shabbir for Mominul at least. I'll still keep Nasir. Bangladesh have to bat a lot better. Batsman other than Tamim and Shakib need to contribute. I'll also consider using only one pacer for this 2nd test, and go in with an extra batsman.

Yes, need Nasir for that extra bowling option. Should be a no-brainer

Thanks Habib and BK. Congrats Tanvir_nus on your newborn.

Can anyone from Chottogram (Chatga?) confirm us how bad the weather really is? Is it really dark and cloudy?

Looks like Hathuru is planning to drop one pacer to bring Momin in. Rest of the team will stay the same.

^^ This is an amateur fan news reporting site. They are doing a pretty good job with their limited resources and skills, I would say.

Agree.

Kp-da could you please do me a favor? Could you please insert a comma after September 4 and add |ZACS at the end of the title?

Thank you.
