Default Public Serive Announcement - Leave BC

It has come to our attention that BC members are still posting after the AfgWash and contemplating about the future of this hopeless bunch.

So management is suggesting, in fact urging, members to leave BC and take a break from following this team.

If you celebrate Eid, then spend the next few weeks with your family and friends.

If you are looking for satisfy your sports need, then turn your attention and energy to the greatest sporting event that is about to start. There is baseball as well.

Or take a vacation. Read a book. Learn a new trade. Find a new hobby. Fall in or out of love. Call your parents.

JUST TAKE A BREAK!

This is for your own sanity.

I normally come on BC when a series is going on tbh.

So I won’t be much active anyways. But this Afghan loss will be in everyone’s mind for a couple of weeks atleast

I wish the players had half the passion of the fans on this forum! After following BD cricket for 20+ years I finally gave up in early 2017. Once in a while I randomly check the scorecard but don't plan to watch other than world cup matches. 20 years ago the players lacked resources, skills, training and experience but they showed a lot of heart, they bled red and green. When they got bundled out for 50 it was because the opposition was that much better not because they lacked passion. I didn't mind that. Today the players are paid handsomely and given access to way more resources but they don't have nearly as much passion or pride when they don the national jersey. That's just not good enough for me, so I've moved on. These days I'm more into NBA playoffs, NFL, WC football, MLB playoffs (yankees only). Heck these days I'm probably more interested in following NBA free agency than cricket lol. If I ever regain interest in BD cricket, in all likelihood it'll be to support the women's team, which clearly is our last bastion of hope.

Every other sport out of your own choice.

You follow this team in particular because it is the only representation unfortunately for the land you call home or once called home.

I really wish we could have put together a decent football team.

Seeing Egypt, Saudi and Morocco convinced me there is nothing superhuman going on there that cannot be replicated by Bangladeshis and done better. Maybe some kid will decide to dribble the football and not sign up for cricket at BKSP.

Banglar Messi. Shuntei bhalo lage.
I would be so proud if my ears ever got to hear shonar bangla play at the beginning of a World Cup match. I wouldn’t miss that moment if I’m alive and well

NBA free agency is always fun. lebron ot the lakers, tony parker leaving the spurs after 17 years. NBA is one of the rare leagues that can capture your attention year round.
