Match Thread: Ireland vs Bangladesh, 3rd Match, Ireland Tri-Nation Series at Dublin, May 9 2019
Match Thread: Ireland vs Bangladesh, 3rd Match, Ireland Tri-Nation Series at Dublin, May 9 2019
Venue: The Village,Dublin
Date & Time: May 09, 10:45 AM LOCAL, 9:45 AM GMT
Weather & Condition: Rain is forecast in Dublin, coupled with windy conditions. The Malahide pitches will continue to be helpful to seamers but as with most venues in that part of the world, if the new ball can be nullified, batting is likely to be comfortable.
There could be brief spells of shower at the start and again during the run chase. Temperatures are expected to remain cool and that might encourage the Irish seamers after their poor outing in the first game.
Live Streaming: Pretty sure there will be youtube links available during the game. Or keep searching youtube with following key words "GTV live" , "MasrangaTV live" "Rabithole entertainment"
Stats: Bangladesh have won six out of the nine ODIs against Ireland, with their last meeting also taking place in Malahide two years ago. So law of average says BD will most likely loose today? Let the best team on the day wins.
This Thread is Dedicated to - "One World" bhai as he requested to open this match thread. Lests win this game for such a passionate BD cricket fan.

Here is an early update from Mohammad Isam: "There was rain in Dublin in the morning. But now it has stopped. The pitch is under cover."--cricinfo

2.12pm The game has been called off. So the points will be shared, two each. The next match is on Saturday when Ireland play against West Indies. But for today, that's all from our side. See you soon.

Since no one opened a new match thread for today's match, I think we can continue discussion here.

Lol - recycled match thread. What's happening to BC!!!
anyway - I would have rested the seniors and bring in the bench including Taskin & Forhad as well as Rubel and Liton who are already playing.

ditto but most teams would find it hard to score 300+ against us in England

What an absolutely appalling decision. Our best player in insane form on a flat track given out to that. Normally I give benefit on those calls but he's clearly not hit that.
Annoying. Those two put on 150 last game and looked really good.

Without DRS these will happen, BD were also unlucky with some decisions in matches vs WI
