Can you believe that I've read the whole 27 pages of this match thread while waiting for today's match?

I saw that match on Channel 9 and it was (still is) one of the best days in my life. The amount of joy I felt when Aftab hit that Six of Jason Gillespie's last over....first ball.....I'll never forget that moment in my life.

TBH, even then I found the whole invocation of 71 to be in poor taste. Beating Pakistan's cricket team does not in anyway compare to the havoc that was wreaked by their industrial-military-jamindar complex on our population and the courage and sacrifice of our freedom fighters cannot be trivialized by comparing it to the elevated performance of 11 cricketers.
