Default It is time for the Ladies to do the last and only honor

It is time for the Ladies to take the responsibilities for letting the country as well as their parties, supporters and well wishers, not to mention their father and husband, down. That is the only honorable thing left. They should grab it with both hands.

People put their trust and hope upon them. But they not only fail to live upto it but also actively allowed the trust to be tattered and torn apart. They had produced more thieves than the jail can handle even if all the thieves with looting less than tk. 1 lakh are let go. They even managed to make the pioneer of looting, Ershad, look like a child caught with his hands in only the cookie jar. My heartful thanks to the Ladies for breaking the country's backbone.

Before you go down the dirtiest drains of history and before you start to rot, Ladies, wake up and smell the day, the dream is long past; it is now time to let the poor people know that you atleast have the honor of recognizing mistakes and brave enough to account for it.

Hasina to spend time writing
Unb, Dhaka

As all political activities have been banned by the caretaker government, Awami League President Sheikh Hasina plans to spend her time writing. "Now politics is banned...I will pass my time writing and complete my unfinished writings," she said while visiting the party's ailing Presidium Member Zillur Rahman at Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital & Research Institute yesterday.

There's this guy, he, after a lot of hardship acquired a hand gun license. For that he had to attend several hours of gun safety classes, had to endure thorough, sometimes embarassing background check and a host of other regulations and procedures. So, when he finally got his gun he was very careful with it, used it with utter responsibility and stored it safely. In short, he knew how to handle a gun.

His kid one day found his gun while looking for cash in his safe. The kid's made a duplicate key to steal money from his dad's safe. He has no idea what it took his dad to get this gun. It didn't require any discipline on the kid's part to get this gun. Bares no responsibilty. So he plays around with it and the gun goes off killing an innocent bystander.

The daughter thinks, she has done 'a history' by listening criticize from high ups of her party! The wife feels she was misguided by high ups of her party as well, but NONE showed any sign of admit or realize their failure in politics for decades. Very unlikely to expect them taking responsibility or recognizing mistakes, rather they will be busy explaining every good that we achieve in the mean time, as their credit.

Like Hasina already claim to be the god mother of current CTG, saying 'amader andoloner fol'.

Here she goes..............(or flees!)

Hasina to leave for US Thursday
Dhaka, March 12 (bdnews24.com) -- Awami League president Sheikh Hasina will leave for the US Thursday on a one-month visit.

Hasina will fly British Airways.

She will travel to Washington to see her daughter-in-law, who had a gallbladder surgery on March 7, sources close to the Awami League said.

During her stay in the US, Hasina will continue writing her book, Bangabandhu's Diary.

She cannot flea, if there is a case filed against her, then US authorities should sent her back home for justice.

Those so-called leaders of the top 4/5 parties should not be allowed to leave the country regardless of the cause. They destroyed the country and want to spend the rest of their lives in the comfort of a foreign land! They must pay the country back first before heading to any safe heaven.

Corrupts and the backers of corrupts are equally guilty.

There will another operation of a party member and she as a god-mother will stay by his/her side for another year and a half and would be planning to return home after the 2009 election is over. They she would start printing her books and call time to time hartals.

I dont know if Hasina is the most corrupt but I think they should charge her with sedition for all the anti bangladesh campaign she carries out from USA just to come to power. She is without a doubt in my mind one of the most harmful elements in bangladesh politics.

Ex-PM denies fleeing Bangladesh

A former Bangladeshi prime minister and leader of one its biggest political parties has denied rumours that she is leaving the country for good.
Awami League president Sheikh Hasina told reporters at Dhaka airport that she was on a family visit to the US.
Bangladesh has been in political crisis since elections were postponed and an emergency declared in January.
The interim government has banned all political activities in the country and launched a crackdown on corruption.
Sheikh Hasina made her remarks as she headed to the departure lounge at Dhaka airport.
She told reporters: "There are lots of rumours that we are fleeing the country, but why should I leave?
"I live with my people for all 365 days a year. I am simply taking 30 days off to visit my children in the USA."
Corruption charges
The BBC's John Sudworth in Dhaka says that with all political activity outlawed, now might seem like a good time for Sheikh Hasina to take a holiday.
Our correspondent says the party, like its opponent the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, is facing tough times.
Almost 50 high-ranking politicians and businessmen with links to both parties have been locked up on corruption charges.
There are rumours that the military-backed emergency government may be keen to see the back of Sheikh Hasina and her arch rival, Khaleda Zia.
But members of the emergency government have also gone on record to confirm that there are no restrictions on the movements of the two former leaders.
Both are former prime ministers who between them have ruled Bangladesh for the past 16 years.
Last week security forces arrested Tarique Rahman, the influential son of Khaleda Zia and heir apparent to the BNP leadership.

That WOULD be a dream solution. I would add that they must be forced to give back the money they stole.
