Ego is the enemy. Ego stretches past more than arrogance. It can be a mind that is unrest, annoyed, irritated, holding grudge and resentment, feeling sorry for oneself, feeling complacent, overly critical, overly judgmental, overly self-chastising, faux humility, overthinking etc etc. Nothing a 5-MeO DMT cannot solve.
In a fight between two persons, the one with the superior mindset usually wins. Or as they say in martial arts, mushin or empty mind. One has to be TOTALLY CALM - like the calm waters of the lake reflecting moon.
I personally felt if a batsman or even bowlers warmed up before the game by light running they would enter flow state easily. We all know Kobe showed up 3 hours before game to make 300 made shots. Because one you run or fully warmed up, you already activate the feel good chemicals in your brain which activates flow state.
Anyway enough theorizing and philosophizing. I really should be watching dorn.
Miraz-Yasir are playing musical chair, Yasir may be back against Zimbabwe. Team management initially considered taking an extra pacer on Gabba Stadium, but now they're going back to 8 specialist batter strategy.
Seems like a perfect match to take a gamble on Ebadot as the fourth pacer. Will Shakib dare? So far rumor is that he won't. They are rather scared of losing early wickets to Muzarabani-Ngarava-Evans, and will go with the defensive strategy of taking an extra batter.

Exactly! We need a stronger pace attack to compensate for our fragile batting, not the other way. Nurul or Yasir is not making a difference (ie not making any 'impact'), but Ebadot could.

You're not giving enough credit to the rest of the Zimbabwe team. In the last match, Raza scored 9 runs in 16 balls. They got a respectable score because Evans, their #9, scored 19 off 15 balls.
As for bowling, their three frontline pacers created pressure on Pakistan, got Babar-Rizwan cheaply. Raza capitalized on that pressure and got 3 wickets. Their pacers held their nerves at the death well also.
There is no chance of rain today. Sky is crystal clear and it will remain like this for rest of the day. So we need to bat full 20 overs. Can we do that? That is my only expectation. By the way, it's hot and humid too with 30 degrees Celsius temperature.
Edit: Not humid, only hot

130 is not a respectable score. They won because they have great coaching, self belief, and PAK are a very inconsistent side without a middle order.

Everytime Bangladesh plays those clowns at Ten Sports downright dismisses us - which is OK as we are in no position to talk loud, except the Pakistanis lose their sh** when they lose next day to Zimbabwe.
