PRACTICE MATCH THREAD: Bangladesh VS Ireland
Bismilliaha.
Today is the day to secure our first win in Aussie soil. I am really hopeful about this match and I am sure this thread will end up with a celebration.
I will try to update the match score and key moments from the ground.

Seriously worried about this game tbh. Another performance like vs Scotland and our World Cup is finished.
My batting line-up
Porterfield
Stirling
Joyce
Balbirnie
Niall
Wilson
Kevin
Mooney
Chase
Young
Dockrell
(Added since its 13 a side I think)
McBrine
Thompson
Bowling is just not gonna cut it I dont think. Young has been decent and still we're conceding high totals so I dont want to imagine what'll happen when he has an off day. Mooney just not quick or bouncy enough for me.
Batting, which is normally our strength, just hasnt turned up so far. Dunno whether its a morale issue but it needs to be fixed ASAP because I know we can set decent scores.
I dunno what to expect. Normally I'd think this would be a close game but with our prior form this could be embarrassing for us. Just hope they got a wake up call after yesterdays massacre.
I swear if Phil picks Cusack AGAIN over Chase I'll tear my hear out. We have far too many bits and pieces players, play a specialist bowler in Chase PLEASE!!

This wont be televised either?
Win toss bat first. Batters, need to learn to post bi on these surfaces, our bowlers did ok another day. Batters need more practice. So, Bat first, without pressure of chasing and target a near 300 total.

Don't worry Donal C. It's just a mere practice match.

They serve as an indication of the team heading into the real thing.
2 179 run losses (if it happens) mean that its highly likely we'll get spanked against the group teams which would be a disaster.
A good performance here will allay my fears though

I think that was an accident against Sco. It happens with all upcoming teams, once in a while. Inconsistency due to inexperience.

That was just a bad day. You guys will be fine. You guys should beat UAE, Zim and WI. Zim is playing really well though

But I must say, Donal is a very gentle and docile person in this forum from our opponents. Heck more respect to him, than some of our own 'team players'.
