Least she turns up. Unlike any others.
What do you expect her to be in all the games? She has other things to do. Her coming to such moments should be looked in a positive ways, it shows her support for BD cricket. She has committed lot more to improving BD cricket. She is building 70k capacity stadium in Purbachal, although a stone has not been yet laid, it has permission and planning for the stadium in the location.

What would we do without a shakib and Tamim??
I am enjoying our recent success but at the same time worried what would happen when the dynamic duo retires. As Isam said, we got them luckily, not because of our system. They are our Sangkakara and Jayawardene. But I am afraid our situation will be worse than current Srilankan side once Shakib and Tamim retire. I don't see a player half of their calibre coming through the system.

He has done much better than his previous years in terms of field setting and bowler choices. The more he plays the more he should improve. Wish he had some help from the selectors.

Tamim
Sarkar or imrul
Mominul
Mushfiq
Shakib
Mossadek
Liton
Mehedi
Taijul
Roy/Taskin
Mustafizur
Taskin and Roy can back up opponents that'll help spinners and Mustafizur, he did ok considering he had no pace partner, look at the drop off with Cummins when Hazelwood got injured
Taskin adds that bit of grit at 10 that will help Mehedi bat to his natural game and not slog
Those runs matter in these games

He's our best fielder. Unfortunately good fielding doesnt show up on the statsheet.

Unfortunately we are not winning because of Mushy but in spite of his captaincy. Shakib was the one dictating field placements today.

Dont think Taskin can cause much damage. Fizz was ok slowing down the runs unlike Shafiul. I dont know what Walsh is doing, but Fizz is bowling so far away from the stumps that the balls are not questioning the batsman.
I have seen Taskin bat, and he always seems like he needs to go to the bathroom

She shouldnt be showing up at all.
And she's not building the stadium, the BD taxpayers are.

Don't worry. It takes time to build and maintain a system to produce world class talents regularly. I am sure even after Tamim and Shakib, BD will produce players even better than these two.
As an Indian who grew up in the 90s, I always wondered what will happen to Indian cricket after Sachin, then gradually Dhoni emerged and then Kohli. I am sure some youngster in some corner in India today will one day even challenge Kolhi's achievements.
Similar things will happen to BD cricket as well.

What are you on about? Mushfiqur brought the right changes with the bowling. He tried different things at the right time.
I wasnt a biggest fan of his captaincy but he did well this Test match in terms of bowlers and field setting. Although he still lacks his reviews

BK bhai... lets not sweep all the failures in this match under the rug just because a super human effort from some seniors won us this game. Plenty of batting and bowling issues still need to be addressed.
But man.. what a game this was. The best Bangladesh test match for me. Gave me a heart attack almost after those Cummings sixes.

Hate to be a buzzkill, but I think Australia won. Sure Bangladesh won on paper, but let's be honest it was Australia's session and day. /loveeternalnaysayer

He had an eye infection, surely he'll recover from that, or give proven domestic player a chance like Nafees, he'll be excellent on spinning tracks, best sweeper we've ever had
As for taskin... I did say he adds grit not skill, right now, Mehedi gets left alone, taskin himself will add 10 extra runs and allow Mehedi to add a further 20...30 runs doesn't seem much, but that's more than 10% in these games
I don't mind Roy just not shafiul

Rewatch it. Shakib called the shots with placements during his overs. I wont go into his bowling changes since its always a toss up. Your a genius if it results in a wicket. A moron if it doesn't.

Another great result for Test cricket and Bangladesh. Two in two days. First England by WI and now Aus by our boys. Both teams are assessing their damages before the Ashes summer.
It's an excellent win and Bangladesh should now go for the kill, and prepare another turner in Chittagong.
Mominul should replace Imrul, and Mosaddek should come in place of Nasir for the second Test. There is no harm in keeping Nasir and dropping Mustafiz or Shafiul. There is no need to play two pacers as they are hardly bowling any overs, and can't contribute with the bat.

Let's not forget the 2 stunning catches from Shoummyo, with which he made up for all the runs that he didn't score

So are we dropping Imrul, SS and Saiful for Liton, Mominul and Mossadek? Surely they can't do any worst then these trio

Shafiul out Taskin/Subasish/Kamrul in. Kayes out Mominul in. Nasir/Sabir/SS out Liton in.
Cannot play all three in one game, all similar bits and pieces and don't suit test, these three above.

Shafiul out Taskin/Subasish/Kamrul: defo out and give Roy or Kamrul a chance
Kayes out Mominul in: Mominul is an amazing silly point fielder
Nasir/Sabir/SS out Liton in. : Nassir out but Shabbir and Sarkar in. I think Shabbir and Nasir's role are the same but Shabbir is slighlty better. Sarkar still needs to be in as he can bat and is a decent fielder
