You will see only a few dismissals of being bowled/lbw by a quicker delivery or being bounced out.
Plunkett Abul have annihilated opposition with slower stuff

If you are a pacy bowler, you can do what Jofra Archer has done... before...
He was sending in those bouncers and at his pace...most of our batsman will struggle.
Any good international teams with good pacers will enjoy bowling at Sylhet. I can't say our batsman will enjoy it though. Sylhet wicket is more suited for overseas players.

the pitch can always be changed according to what the gameplan is. I am sure it wont take much to convert this pitch into a minefield. I honestly hope we get a good number of matches here.

Considering how our local/international BD players have struggled so far batting on those slightly pacy wickets.

I haven't watch every ball but whenever I turned on I see fast bowlers bowling slower balls. slow balls are bringing in success..doesn't feel like a pacy wicket

I think our U19 and HP team/Pace Academy (if we have one) should be based in Sylhet.
Let them train/practice/develop on those wickets in Sylhet.

Lol. True. He looks so assured as a player, and captain in BPL. Come the international game, he goes into his own world, like he’s not even there.

That's because it suits both slower deliveries and fast bowling. Most pacers that used the slower deliveries are our locals. If you watched Jofra Archer bowl today, you could easily tell the wicket has pace and bounce. If someone like Rabada/Morkel etc bowled on that wicket, our batsman head would have flied everywhere..
It's just not easy to bat against good pacers on that Sylhet wicket.

his 146kph, 148 kph was hard to handle... just too good..
If someone like Rabada bowled on that wicket, would easily click 150kph...

Sad to see that our fast-ish bowlers have turned into fast medium bowlers in a year ( Taskin, Rubel, Fizz). Even Mash who is now gentle medium-ish was hitting 140km in the 2015 WC

Riyad has been performing T20 internationals.... 2nd highest scorer for us in 2017.. better then Shakib, Shabbir and the rest.. Also averaging over 50 with the highest SR in the team in ODIs... not remotely disappearing

I was considering Abul Hasan in my fantasy team. I think after today's performance, it is justified that I didn't

Brathwaite hit few fours.

The curators had enough time to work on the Dhaka wicket.
It will be a big disappointment if they don't prepare a batting wicket.

T20 should be nothing but batting friendly, doesn’t has to be absolute road but has to be good for batting, ball coming on nicely.

Excellent performance by Khulna Titan, especially Jofra Archer.
They have managed to stop the mighty Sylhet Sixers...

Bad day at the office. Best to get bad game out early. Too much win early on can make you feel complacent for the rest of the tournament.
