Standings have been updated! Top 2 from both divisions are pretty much set. 3-4 could shuffle around a bit. Bottom teams can ruin few things.
(I'll get Z to update the other one)

Hmm...looks like we'll have to beat the Flyers to ensure qualification sans complication.

i was wondering since real life injuries apply in MLC, so does real life problems apply?..example afridi's wife is sick, so he isn't available to play, Murali is attending a family wedding so he isn't available for a week...so does these guys still play MLC?

All the regular season games are done! Can you believe it?! First ever MLC World Series is only 6 games away! Playoffs season starts from tomorrow. I'm out for the night. So don't rush me to start games because I probably can't hear/read you.
In the mean time you guys have a decision to make on Hamid Hasan and the Toronto Tyrants. You can read all about it on the Schedule thread and vote.
Hamid Hasan should or should not be allowed to play for the Toronto Tyrants?

A Morkel (BOS) was in the running for the MVP award as well. But it's hard to beat out a guy who is avg. nearly 50 (without any NO*) with SR of 170, three 50s in 5 inning (with one 48).
I think we have made the right call.

^ I think he means he will take the chance, doesn't matter how they entreated the playoffs. But he does go onto hint how huge it will for the Kings to win it all from here on.

Wonder how the Hamid Hassan saga would read in real life, or what the contents of that ESPN article would be like. Hassan discovered to have been injured in a parallel universe throughout the duration of the regular MLC season?

OK I'm back. Thanks for the house flags and all your work around the World Series Dillu. Can't speak for the Kings, so maybe I'll just do a preview for the Tyrants.

Maysun and ATMR, a review of your series thus far from your prospective would be nice.

Kings Focussed
LA Times
Los Angeles LA Kings have made most of their second chance given to them by going 2-0 up away from home in the World Series. The Kings had a dismal and a roller coaster of a ride in the Division stages, winning two and losing three of their games. They were eliminated but however with all the controversies surrounding the Denver Broncos and their disqualification to participate further, the Kings have been given a second life.
With victories over the Washington Nationals in the playoffs and Miami Heat in the Division Championship, the Kings face a daunting task in Toronto Tyrants. And they couldn't have asked for a better start. With two victories over Toronto Tyrants, Kings' GM, Maysun said: "We have got a good start and need to build on the two victories. There is no place for complacency and we need to be focused and bring out our A game for the remainder of the series." The Kings are well aware of the mayhem that has been caused by the Toronto Tyrants opening pair, Warner & McCullum and their Afghani pacer Hamid Hasan with his tight economical spells. But Kings can definitely pride in their opening pair, Gibbs and Sachin. The duo put on decent starts for the Kings and will be looking to do the same. The return of Sangakkara has solved the no. 3 crisis for the Kings and he has responded beautifully. The middle order however, remains a worry for the Kings. They have hardly clicked in the campaign and when it's their call, the Kings would definitely like to see them take off. The bowling department seems to be working well with each other, with all the players sharing the responsibility. The notable inclusion of ten Doeschate has definitely helped the Kings further.
Led by their captain, the Kings will definitely look forward to the home games coming up. "We look forward to playing infront of LA at the LA Memorial Coliseum. We found the right balance and we're here as a team. All the people behind LA Kings, the owner, the staff, the players and most importantly the fans are the reason we're here. We are focussed and will not let our guards down. The Toronto Tyrants deserve the utmost respect. We've been fortunate with our second chance and we need to make it count." said Sachin.
