I watched the second innings with my 12 year old chachato bhai and 7 year old chachato bon. When they needed about 10+ an over from the 35th over onwards, I told them that they were about to see something special, as Bangladesh had not won a match against Pakistan since before they were born!
Seems like they'll have to wait till they're at least teenagers to see that happen.

You got to play well for the entirety of the game to win. Both these teams batted well hence the close game. Pakistan was just a little bit better today.

well I knew we wouldn't win with such a toothless bowling attack and careless fielding. Surprisingly our batting stood out. So never had high hope but deep inside it hurts to lose such a close game.

The best batting I have ever seen, my goodness, the icing on the cake was Sak & Mushy bossing Hajmola & Gul.
Never thought I will witness this.
I'm proud of the boys the way they batted.
Pak won but our batting was much better losing only 3 wickets to post 326.
We didn't rely on some 34 yr Afridi to bail us out, we don't have vastly experienced Misbah or Hapiz, our young guns Bijoy & Momin have shown great character, Kaedge & Sakib joining the team for the 1st time in this Asia cup played with so much authority, captain fantastic leading from the front (only with bat).
This was a treat to watch, yes we lost, yes I'm in pain but I won't forget this batting,my word, pure entertainment.

One of the best Bangladesh batting performance batting first, without a doubt. especially it was against a top Pakistani bowling attack.
Lots to take from this good batting display goin into the world t20. I'm 'optimistic' InshaAllah, BD does well in the upcoming World T20.

The batsman played like real tigers today. They had that self belief going into the match despite losing to a lower ranked team just days before. No complaints on that regard. So hats of to them. We want to see more of these mature innings.
On the other hand our bowlers are getting really really pathetic day by day. Something needs to be done here as a matter of urgency. Maybe get rid of razzak once and for all. Who's idea was it to keep him in the team anyway? Tyhey dropped arafat for This guy? He got smashed by afghans batters for f*cks sake.
Chikna shafiul er kotha nai bollam :facepalm

if sunny had gotten no wickets in the last match against the afghans then i would understand why he was dropped. but he got 2 wickets as opposed to lalla who got no wickets and had a higher economy rate than sunny lol yet despite that the selectors drop sunny for this wasteman? it just doesnt make sense!

Not taking away our greatest batting performance ever in ODI, if we still lose at the end, how much does it say about our over all performance as a team?
We have to be able to defend such total, otherwise day in and day out we still gonna be at the same spot.
I hope we can hold on to this batting performance in next games and do better as a fielding side.
The match against Sri Lanka will tell if the batting was just a one time deal or not!

I don't think the issue is with Bangladesh's loss against Pakistan, it happens. But the problem likes in the way we are loosing matches from winning position in every other game. Same thing happened with Srilanka twice and Afghanistan just in 2 weeks. There is a consistency in the bad captaincy, fielding and bowling.
