The way Rubel and Shafi blew away the tail was absolutely superb. Just a glimpse of what genuine pacers can do for a team. Shafi was outstanding. Rubel needs to work hard with Streak.
My own Man of the series is none other than Rubel Hossain. For his first ball wicket and toe crusher. You could see fear written all over the faces of tailenders. If Boma can get a Nobel for doing absolutely nothing why not Rubel?

What kind of a question is that to ask during a presentation!?

Perhaps, ShamCha is a loafer. And, he thinks everyone is like him. Well done PheMominal.

If they were going to have a 'Most Valuable Bangladeshi Player' award (what was even the point of this), they should have done the same to Zimbabwe as well. Chakabva, Masakadza and Raza were terrific players, feel bad to see them leave empty handed.

Probably Shamim or his missus likes coxs bazaars/ Burmese achar, if Mominul can bring some for him.
"Tumi Bari gele Burmese achar Anba kintu" - that's the translation

you guys were worried for nothing, there was no way Zim could have won/ drawn that.
Anyway, congratulations to BD, Momi, Sakib.
What's with this guy Chaka? I told you WC bhai, we need chaka washing powder, in odis we will have to be careful, guys like MAsa, Raza, Chaka are in great form and are capable of scoring quick.

One is used to hearing a lot of whining, sniping, and derogatory comments about Bangladesh still not deserving Test status from fans of other teams. What this thread makes clear, though, is that many of our own fans themselves are not ready for watching test matches: becoming jittery at the drop of a hat or a single good session by the opposition, not realizing that tests require patience, consistency and grit, and imagining that Zimbabwe, faced with the runs required in this second innings, could win.
For example, on a number of occasions in this match, we had enough of a run cushion in hand to be able to afford some attacking bowling, even if it leaked us some runs. But that made many of our fans nervous. Many of the fans wanted Shakib brought in against the tail to achieve his record, but frankly, I thought the other spinners were getting better flight and turn on this pitch; and winning was the priority.
If we are going to be playing test cricket, some of us need to realize that tests are not ODIs, be able to stiffen up our own spines, and not focus on immediate gratification.

Very well said
Its kind of hilarious to see fans after Masakadza and Raza bludgeoning the ball. Let us see how many time a 400+ score has been chased, perhaps twice or thrice and this weak Zimbabwe side would definitely not be able to manage that.

Better way to put it would be Zim are a good side but we proved to be better in batting, bowling and fielding. Well, perhaps, not fielding as Bangladesher Jaan had conceded.

Alhamdulillah, I Feel that If Shafiul can keep this up, He should deserve a callup to ODIs as well. Shafiul should be an auto choice as a first seamer in the next few tests we play if he keeps this up. I must say, Heath Streak doing a decent job so far.

Shakib did bowl well in his second spell in the 5th day and Mushy dropped an easy catch. I thought Shak could have brought in the last session...
And of course, winning the series 3-0 was more important than achieving a personal milestone. Congrats to the tigers
