NewZealand go out of the WC with sth as well.... draw against Italy & Paraguay is more than what they thought they would achieve this time...
Paraguay certainly lacks the killer attacks like Uruguay but best of luck to Paraguay for round 2....

BBC Radio 5 live's David Pleat at Ellis Park:
"Quite incredible - Lippi drifted off down the tunnel and didn’t shake hands with Vladimir Weiss, Slovakia's manager. It was a deserved victory in terms of overall play. Not only were they brave, but they were better and they imposed their will on the Italians. This was a remarkable afternoon. It was a wonderful win over the world champions. Maybe the Italians will want an English manager now."

Guess who is in charge of England team. I believe he is not an Englishman. Typical English overrating business

An English manager? Priceless.
I'm totally Rogers-on-Demanding this game when I get home tonight. Four goals in the last fifteen minutes - who woulda thought?

group E stands like this
Holland qualified will play to keep their rythm going and ensure top place in group. Cemeroon, already eliminated, only to play for pride.
japan vs Denmark is the important match. the winner goes through. japan have one advantage, a draw suits them.

"I think it's an important game against Cameroon because, although we're through to the next round, the issue is in this tournament you should never let your guard down and that is the case here."

"It's a very good Dutch team with many, many very talented players. They are used to playing big games for big clubs in big stadiums. They are one of the favourites for the tournament and it will be tough, but we will fight to defend our honour."

Denmark coach Morten Olsen
"We have ambitions and I think that's fair... and we know that Japan has its own ambitions. Here we have two teams that have good qualities, who are perhaps not amongst the favourites for the World Cup. But these are two teams that if they use their full potential, then we can have a fair match against big teams as well."

Japan coach Takeshi Okada
"I am not considering if we lose. I am thinking only about winning. In our meeting (on Wednesday), I did tell the players that we should not think about any draw. This means that we have to score. So from the beginning we will start out with the intention of winning."

@BBC
Japan may have started slowly, but they are bang in the driving seat in both this match and the running for qualifying now. By the way - they have won all five matches in which Keisuke Honda has scored, keeping a clean sheet in all of them. Denmark, who need a win, have to step up now.
