Decent win but wish we didn't keep throwing wickets away. Should've won this in a canter.
These slow pitches always suit us, but a fast bouncy one, and most decent pace lineups will rip through us.

I had few concern about this team (individual players) before the series, atleast some of them are showing good sign.
Tamim: still struggling, but atleast he is not a complete flop. hopefully he will come back in time.
SS: Showing sign he is regaining hos form back.
Sakib: He is not at his best, but as usual contributing, specially bowling wise pretty good.
Musfiq: Looks like he recoveded from his minor setback in NJ series.
Mithun: looks like he will give us some some.
Riyad: One game but good. Not sure why they are not using hos bowling at this series, few overs could be helpful for the team in future.
Sabbir: Incomplete so far. But its not his fault.
Mashrafee/Miraj/Saif: not bad so far.
Mustafiz: Incomeplete. From goat to hero. Need more good performance before the start of the WC.
Abu Jayed: Need more chance. One game - nothing to show for.
Litton: Need to play him to see if he float or drown. He need to play good to justify his inclusion.

Allhamdullilah well done.
Sarkar going good but not tested against spin and bouncers.
Tamim probably thought more batting to come so just go for it. But the attitude was wrong.
Mithun had a good number of lives. He did a really idiotic thing and got himself nearly runnout.
Shakib was okish.
Fizz is hitting form again

Bangladesh should have lost this gave against any decent fielding team if everything else remained same. Half a dozen chances spilled by WI any self-respecting team wouldn't drop that many. I also cannot fathom the the urge to be cute when the target is in the insight. Mushy's lap shot was premeditated and could have costs us in tighter games. Remember the loss against India?

Was the pitch slow and low? I couldn't tell from the clips I have watched. Seemed like it had decent carry? BTW, should we not give Taskin a chance? We need to give chance to players who haven't had a game.

Lower middle order would have won the game then , some of those catches were not dollies either. Cannot say BD would have lost that game just because of those , also see our bowling performance

I agree Bangladesh would have won as the bowling was decent and the batting was deep.
Although they would have struggled if the opposition fielding was better.
I think rotation of strike was ok but could be better

On a pitch like this, Bangladesh is a beast in ODI format. If we play on similar pitch, we will be favorite against NZ, PAK, SL, and AFG in WC.
Our weakness in ODI is our inability compete in high scoring pitches. Our batsmen still need few overs to get used to before they start scoring. You cannot afford that in a high scoring pitch.
Recently Ireland has scored 350+ against WI. Pak has scored 350+ against England. But even on a road and on their day against a weak opponent, BD is very unlikely to cross 325.
That is why our chance to reach semis in the WC depends on tight bowling and disciplined ground fielding. If we execute our bowling and fielding well, we will win a few matches with our 250-280s.

He has shoulder problem hence he is not bowling. Once he is fully recovered, he will resume bowling

I really want to see Yasir getting a chance. Didn't like the bowling of Abu Jayed. Hope Rubel gets a chance.

I am worried about our inability to take wickets in the 1st 10 overs consistently. With the batting paradise and attacking openers we will face, it is a real concern.

BD is looking in unstoppable form here. Could BD make it into the semis / finals of the upcoming World Cup?

Very controlled opening stand. No attempt for hoicking a 6. I like it.

Unlikely. We played WI-B team and an aging Irish team. For what its worth, it a good outing and creates competition in the opening position and fast bowling options.

With all due respect, WI and IRE are not the best opponents for testing.
This WC will be hugely dominated by batsmen. I think there are a few problems with our batting:
1) Too many dot balls. Not rotating strike enough, especially in first 10 overs.
2) Not having the habit/ mental aptitude of scoring 300+ runs regularly. Most of the pitches will have a par score of 350.
3) Not enough good slog-hitters at the end. We'll need to put at least 100 in last 10 overs.

Didn't this Irish team just win a series Vs Afghanistan in India ?
And WI drew Vs England , full team or not they have a full bowling attack in Ireland and made some world record scores Vs Ireland but couldn't score 275+ even Vs BD bowling so far let's give the BD team some credit.
