Problem is BOTH! in my original statement I meant it was the obsession of the selectors ( i thought that was obvious ).

And if you dont think Shafiul is a problem on the field then please read his stats for this game too.

But I do agree with you that our selectors chose players for formats they are not suited for

I thought Walsh wasnt much effective either. Also from a Management perspective he is being paid so much of money and we are getting poor results, we should have stuck with Heath Streak.

I still cant understand why Atahar so proudly boasts and reminds everyone Walsh is our coach.

Shafiul has been playing cricket much more than Mustafiz and still cant bowl simple line and lenght. ZERO control over the ball.

Good thing Shafiul playing instead of a guy who's big strong and can bowl it on a length... In south africa

Good thing we decided to go first here too on this flat track, where wet will bat 4th

No, it's always stupid to bowl with a weak attack on tests on a flat track

You back tamim and imrul to bat it out, certainly tamim.

Batting 4th too

Absolutely ridiculous choice

I dont think our batsman would have done well as Tamim doesnt have a good record against S Africa and we all saw how case batted in the two tests against Australia.

Kayes is extremely limited, he just about figured out opening then he got moved, no can argue that's good logic

How many times has tamim played south africa, majority of those innings came when he was a teenager, past records mean nothing, and reason must here said Warner is a dangerous player even though he failed previously in Asia and first innings vs us

And its flat, hot could see it was flat if you're batsman fail you, then you've got nothing you can do, you take control of the game, you give batsman to play first on a batting pitch

...

Good over by taskin, need more of this

very good first over after lunch by taskin. bangladesh's better sessions tend be the second and third ones in a day. hopefully the pacers would have had some time to think about how to bowl here.

Run machines, Taskin and Shafiul are a clear liability to this team, the longer they stay the more they hamper the test success of Bangladesh.

It does, we have a better chance to do well with the bat on a batting pitch vs bowling on a batting pitch

Mushfiqur Rahim has blessed us with a bowling attack, that consists of two run machines(Taskin and Shafiul) one unnecessary spin bowler(Miraz) and one decent pacer.

Will this little man ever give up his captaincy, or should management pull a turkish coupe and force him out of the role

But does that justify all his spray gun style bowling, that has plagued the team since 2015. The words line and length are almost non-existent in his vocabulary. But when it comes to taking photos, this guy turns into another Hugh Jackman.

Like I have always said, Part time cricketer, full-time model.
