Morne out of the match with side strain - SA a bowler short. With one session washed out, we will never get a better chance to draw a match with SA.

I haven’t seen a single ball in this test match.
Well we will lose regardless. 7 wickets will be lost in a single session.

God I hope not
Rubel is awful and will make us much worse and that's saying something after the way we performed

Since 2015 we have done many incredible things for the first time.
I think our batters are yet to save a test match from such situation, let's see what happens, but with Tamim & Momin out and SAkib not playing I see no chance.
Realistically the best thing we can do from here is to drag this test match as far as we can, minimize the margin of defeat.

I said this before Mominul took those wickets....... Thanks for proving me right. Before the game I wanted Taijul in the side but most people opted for Miraz because of his batting.. how useful his batting has been to us....

If Mustafizur hits a century, we may have a chance to win this match.
And if somehow we end up winning or draw this match, we will finally show who the boss is!

Taskin has been given several opportunities, rightly so because of the termendous potential. But, at some point, one has to wonder whether he has it in him to be successful in test. May be, it is better for him to develop himself in First class. At the time being, he looks awfully out of depth - short in both skill and grits. The fact that he fared worse than "proven mediocre" Shaful says a lot.
Couple of years ago, I was wondering about the WORST "specialized" bowlers in test history among ones that played at least 10 tests. Rubel was a strong contender with an average of 78 ! Now, it looks like Taskin will give Rubel a stiff competition if selector/management keep on picking him. After 4 tests, he is averaging 80+. Frankly, I don't see himself pushing that down unless he develops drastically - both his skills and grit.
As awful as Rubel has been in Test, it is hard to be worse than Taskin. On top of that, Rubel has improved a bit from his early days of playing test cricket - both in control and in use of the old ball. So, Rubel might be slightly less pathetic option.

Not quite the end of test career, but I wish we have a moratorium for Taskin in Test. If he continues to play more tests with his current repertoire, he is on course to be one of the worst "specialized" bowlers to have ever played in Test with 80+ average !! Frankly, I don't see him having a great impact on the game with his current skill set. One might say - hey, there were several catches dropped in his bowling in NZ. Even if one count all those misses as wickets (there were 5, I think), he would still have averaged 47 - very poor !
He does possess raw materials for test bowling for sure. But, at the moment, he lacks the necessarily skills to be effective in tests. Skills such as controlling the length, seaming the red ball both ways enough, reversing old ball, thinking/planning, bowling long spells without loosing speed and venom, targeting short bowl better .... I wish he could develop all those skills outside of playing test.
