Again we're looking way too much in to, not a big deal. This is just a game in the end. People really need to stop being so sensitive about this "showing respect"
I wouldn't have cared if India or Pakistan did it to us

And ICC got to learn that we deserve a place in the super 10 straightaway.

Congratulations to Bangladesh. Both the heroes of the OP lived up-to the expectations tonight. Maybe I have to re-write that story. Well done Khadka. I wish you and your country all the best and a win against Afg in next match. Please teach them some behavior if you can.
By the way, 3 successive Win in my first 3 match thread. Can I say it a Hat-trick?

It's the intention of the 6. If it was for NRR, or for the pleasure of the crowd, or to boost the morale of the team then it's fine, but if the 6 was for personal gain then no, it's not fine.

Accha, moving on, anyone else concerned that Nasir and Riyad haven't batted at all recently? I mean, should we have gambled and sent one of them out at no. 4 instead of Shakib? It might have run the match closer but....they're really out of touch. They'll definitely have to bat against the big teams and with the form they're in....

Well, the only competition I saw was whether the Nepali supporters ( aka girls) were prettier..
On serious note, a bit upsetting that we will go to top 10 group without any real practice against quality bowling, batting like PAK, NZ, IND etc. team are facing.. Maybe, we needed these morale boosting, stat boosting matches, I guess!!

Exactly. I wanted Nasir to come at number 4. He badly needs some batting practice. Hope team management will consider this when we play HK
congrats worldcup bhai. Well done

We practiced those against Srilanka and in Asia cup. We were very close in some games specially those 2 T20s against Srilanka. This is our chance to win those close games now with the confidence boost we got thrashing these teams. Alhamdulillah.

its definitely one's personal perspective.... whether showing respect (to opponent) is a class act or sign of weakness... anyways enough said on this topic, it'll be soon forgotten anyways... but the victory will stay....
Nasir should have been sent out to bat before Shakib. He needed all that moral boosting etc etc more than Shakib. I really hope he gets promoted up the order against HK and gets that match practice before we take on the big boys....

No one. They were perfect gentlemen. They showed you can play hard without being obnoxious.
