I'm trying to get an assignment done, so I'm not listening to anything at the moment.
I was listening to Live before though. Good band. They're coming to Australia next month.

In these days I listen to the album Prottutponnomoti. A band called 'Bangla' produced this album.
Surprisingly very few people in BC listen to Bangla music. It's not like good songs are not there, there are good songs. Specially in last few years situation is improving as some singers are coming out like Mahmuduzzaman Babu, Anu sheh from the band called 'Bangla', Aurthoheen- their album 'Biborton' is very nice and the other album 'trimatrik' was not bad either.

very surprised to see not many of you listens bangla songs. For me, i'm a huge fan of bangla songs, specially from new recruit Habib. He is the boss. Even my Thai friend borrowed his songs from me. Not only that, he has a pub/restaurant and he played one of Habib's song over there in front of packed foreigners.
You can imagine how proud i was then.
So those of you Bengali origins living in the Usa and Europe, try listening Habib, the new miles and many more new songs.
What could be more fun then listening bangla band songs while driving???

I have not Bancan. Even though I am a big fan of Bangla music I did not listen to lot of albums and its very normal. You can't listen everything.
Forgot to mention one thing now a days I am listening to Hariprasad Chaurashia's album called 'Rasdhara', his music is famous cos he uses a flute to create extraordinary music and taal. Just like Bismillah khan he made flute world famous as Bismillah Khan made Shenai world famous. But the sad thing is Bismillah khan died few days ago.

I am a huge fan of Bangla music. try to listent to differet type of songs/musics, not restraining myself to one form.
Listened to Habib, Aurthohin, Artcell(huge fan), and offcourse the good ol days of James, Hasan, Bachchu, Miles and so on. Ah miss those days when i used to go to lotta concerts and being a teen those days, cant remember half of them!!
I have also listened a good deal of "Rabindro" Sangeet and "Nazrul" geeti by virtue of older uncles, borrowed few stuff of them to try out whats its all about. they r "great" music, but may be not my type to be honest.
But never quite listened to Adhunik Bangla like SD Rubel and those type of singers.
listened to Matra, Stoic Bliss.
used to be quite regular in the underground Metal scene in Dhaka back in 97 98 when all these now mainstream Metal bands used to play in Kolabagan, DOHS etc etc.
The song thats goin on my mind since the morning is
The Trap - Sharthopor.
