Most common one me and my friends tend to eat is the Kachi Birani, however i feel the taste of this is much overhyped, most people i know tend to love it

a very close friend of my father loved hajir biriani. he used to send his chauffeur most evenings to join the queue for the food. sadly, he passed away a couple of years ago. he used to be a well known television actor once.

I tried Hajir Birirani once. My cousin took me there. We ate on the spot on plate made of leaves. It was plain ... doesn't looked like lots of spices.... but Boy ... it was soo good.
I tried Fakrudin's son's Biriani. It was good .... but not like Hajir Biriani.
This winter if I go BD again, I have to try it again.
Any Wedding Biriany in Bangladesh is usually 1000% better than what we usually get here in USA. They use Shaan Polau Biriani... which I hate.

I did taste so called hajir biriyani from Sagar. It wasn't anything special and nowhere close to original biriyani. Only thing which Sagar has in common with the original one is they only cook it once daily around 6.

sorry to hear that. Yes, over indulgence can be fatal. Did they sue that establishment?

It is quite a decent tehary, tastes good, but I am doubtful whether they are truly using Hajji Sahib's recipe

I have travelled quite a lot ... been to a lot of places ... Travelling is my passion and so is eating ... I have tried all sorts of various cousines of many different countries and cultures and I still rate Haji's Biriyani as the best thing I have tasted in my life.

mmm... me want some Hajir Biriani. The one we have here in NYC is terrible but they still call it Haji Biriani. Maybe they should rename it to Alhaaj Biriani...

Hanif Biriani - which is oposite to Hajir Biriani is a class one too. Their super chilled thick Borhani is awesome. And after eating 3/4 plates finish your feast with hot super tasty Gilebi from the next shop.
I love Kazi Allauddin road.
