Hasina probably just gave them some "bonuses."

LOL at the PM handing out the trophy after every bilateral series. In what sport does a PM hand out the trophy in a WC let alone in any other competition.

Sabbir credited them. Commentators credited them. They were credited after the 3rd ODI too. I didn't see the first two ODIs.

They've been praised by players, commentators, media and fans alike. Pretty much everyone but Durjoy and co.

As a cricket fan, I actually don't mind it. Cricket needs support from the highest level in order to spread in Bangladesh.. From building infrastructure around the country to funding, political support is a prerequisite in Bangladesh. For other countries like Australia, New Zealand this may not be a factor but for our context it's different.
