as for the worm... get rid of it/ quarantine it asap. You can use free anti-viruses like avast or avg. I knew I had a Win32.Bagle worm in my pc sitting idle for a LONG time, till sth like a rootkit made an entire directory of my songs, pics, docs go hidden, and disable my avg, avast and any other AV I tried installing. Had to use Blacklight to find the infected files (about 4000 of them). So instead I just formatted my C:\ drive and reinstall windows.

formatting is not an option for me. i used avg and avast. they seem to delete the files the virus created in my system but its unable to get rid of the virus it self. cause each time i scan my computer( which i s very rarely cause my pc slows down a lot when there is a anti virus installed) i find more files.

keep going with Avast. it's pretty lightweight and doesnt hog computer resources too much. And you can turn on the Avast Screensaver to scan your disks for viruses when you arent using your computer. its an efficient process. Just dont ignore the virus infected files, otherwise it really can get worse.
