dada no many options so many competitions all is good hopefully...SL is #1 team in this business so unless our guys work hard to get that position..you know the result...irony is their batters who just batted in Test will turn out to be monsters and their bowlers are just too good especially Malinga the Slinga...if our Slinga gets chance he himself will give away the match..I am also worried about Mash openning and bowling at death over. Saw the video uploaded by MocBhai about the practice...Mashrafee's bowling speed went so down it seemed even para moholla cricketers will hit him...how much Shakib can do and not sure Gazi will play

A series against World no 1 side vs no 10. And some saying BD has nothing to loose. But rank predictor saying this match wont make any affect on SriLankans but if the number 1 side wins here, definitely that will leave Bangladesh under Ireland & Afghanistan at 11 in rank table.

are dada apni toh shobshomy bhitu thaken. amra keno khelar age shobkichu bhijiye shob asha chere dibo. Practice footage dekhe bujhe fellen Mash er speed kome gese, kintu Rubel er bouncer ta dekhlen nah? Steyn er moton delivery cheilo sheita.
On paper, SL are a good team. But its very hard to predict results in T20. A few over here and there can make lot of differences. Buke shahosh rakhen. It will be a close game.

Considering our recent record in T20s, I will have to say that Sri Lanka has got the edge over this team. To prove me wrong, they will have to be more aggresive in their approach (tactics, not only batting). Sometimes when i see Bangladesh play cricket, I wished only if i were the coach, i could lift this team's morale. The players just need to play more cricket overseas( A Teams), getting used to fast bowlers from other regions in the world. That's the formula for success in my humble opinion. GO TIGERSSS

ofcourse SL has the edge. They are #1 team for a reason.
We all think we can change the morale or do this or that with the team. Then everybody will become coach. But truth be told, its not that easy. Even the most knowledgeable fans here who explains 'nuances' and this and that still has less exposure to the real game than let's say Nazimuddin or Hannan Sarker. Shamim Chowdhury can talk about red cherry, nelson finger raising and all the technical MCC language of cricket and Alamin on the field probably knows nothing about that but will still get him out with one delivery.
I digress. On topic, Malinga has been very poor lately. But he is a class bowler and can always come back. His bhuri though makes Tamim's abs look like 6 packs.

Overall good team assuming Sabbir plays.
No Anamul?
I would select Mahmudullah over Gazi. Gazi bleeds too many runs now a days. I would even choose Anamul over gazi. Momin+ Nasir can make up those 4 overs and give less runs.

I don't know much about Mithun and his keeping. Can someone elaborate on this sub-topic?
Also RIYAD has an edge over Gazi in the batting department, i think Gazi will redeem himself. But putting into context RiYAD'S bowling of late i would go with him.

Good luck indeed. Even if we whitewash them we would not overtake Zimbabwe in the rankings. Reality needs to step in and confront the Tigers. They have a lot of cat=ching up to do.

Those who are being soo paranoid against Riyad for T20,
He went for 1-28 after 4 overs (Most economical) and made 31 of 18 (The most aggressive)
Yes I agree he is not an ideal T20 player, but please save those abuses for later.....

So Rubel has been described as medium fast in the threads cover while Farhad Reza is a fast medium bowler??? for real?
I would have guessed Farhad Reza to be a medium if not gentle medium pace bowler. And Rubel is atleast fast-medium if not fast.

Dilshan will make or break the game for Sri Lanka in addition to Sangakara. Sri Lanka also has a decent bowling attack. A lot will depend on Shakib, Tamim, Mashrafi and the spinners who get to play. Gazi looks unprepared for T20.

I don't see the point of having Mominul in T20. Let this kid be a TEST specialist and maybe groom him to be a ODI batting anchorman.

Our overconfidence and an inability to accept reality as it is worries me more than anything.
forget rankings, We are simply playing against the Best T20 Team in the world. We always forget that every time we expect victory without putting in the proper effort, a True honorable team like Sri Lanka always takes us seriously and gives us a whopping like never before...(Happens over and over and over and over again, so many times it's not even funny)
jus' sayin
