Any team can win in ODI. So they got 40% chance to win today's game. BD has no clue who plays how and where. so they have no stats on them. Hamilton might have intensionally got out so that bd player can't figure out what his weakness is...
So today its going to be a close game

Looking forward for a blasting performance from our boys.Today we should put those fat-mouth scotts in grave.
I will go with the team of Miraz bhai.Looks good to me.As Rafiq is missing the match, I would feel it with a batsman like Nadif.Apart from Razzaq we have Sakib and Mehrab in our SLA-artilary.Mash and Shahadat will serve the pace fine and if necessary we can call Aftab for couple of overs. His medium pace was not bad.He should be tried more often, I think.

my thinking is exactly this...but i think we should wait for both ODIs to be concluded for this judgement.

Bashar seems to be reluctant to bat first. He wants to let the top four batsmen to finish the business that he eventually does not have to bat. I think that he has started to doubt his batting capability. Let us see what our "Most Talented batsman" Ashraful does today. He is supposed to demostrate that he is consistant although that will be too much asking to him.

to date, no full member-associate member ODIs have been televised. remember when SL pounded 440+ on Holland? it wasn't televised.
there just isn't much of market for it. even Bangladesh fans (who would be the most eager to watch such a series) prolly won't be that hyped.
this match thread will prolly finish with less than 300 posts.

We may have to keep refreshing the Cicinfo or cricbuzz pages for the update. The Scottish are more interested in soccar than cricket and are the Dutch. If one home market is not viable, the commercial value diminishes for the broadcasters.

The BD middle order is the real area of my concern because there are so many talented batsmen are there. They are so unpredictable !

It was their first match on this soil, although our Academy team beat them, i think we are yet to know their real strength, to me it will be a easy win for us but we paid the price of being over confident in zimbabwe. Hope we dont repeat that. beside winning the series lets pray Nafees finishes the year with a grand and Mashrafee becomes the leading wkt taker with Razzak folowing him closely
