Afridi banned for damaging pitch

it was just fraction of second, bell i think was not sure , but if there is a chance of him catching it right, why shouldnt he claim it? the guy to blame in this case i think is umpire hair. he called it out, he couldve mentioned it to 3rd umpire...... and if he was not sure, the benefit should always go to the batsman.

regarding afridi, he was rightly penalised, he is playing cricket for many years and knows very well that he cant do it on the pitch.

Afridi is warned by PCB also. Pretty much this is his last chance, embarrass the country one more time, his career will be over.

This guy jones and Latif all did the same thing, even it means doing a little bit of cheating it is for the country and the team, but it is a known fact some people has double standards for different people, which is quite amusing you might say it is the entertainment of hypocrisy central.

Actually, it is a problem mostly with ourselves. I have seen BD people speaking in Urdu with some Pakistanis. No offense against any nation or language, but our glorious history should give us the minimum self-respect NOT to do so.

I have seen many friendly Pakistanis. To be fair, they usually have some superiority complex and much less 'head' than the Indians or Sri Lankans. From my experience, the first day when I was playing cricket with them, they were guessing like the best players of the world. But I bowled very well and during my team's batting, I scored 17 runs off the first 5 balls bowled by a Pakistani. Well, they learnt to respect

I concur with Baundule on this, i.e. its Bangladeshis who are partly to blame

Many Bangladeshis go out of their way to speak Urdu with Pakistanis, albeit in a horrible accent, and completely mispronouncing words. And when asked why they speak in Urdu they typically respond that they know it from watching Bollywood films.

I speak very good Urdu but i will never use it unless i am sure the other person knows no other language

When was the last time a Pakistani tried to speak in Bangla with us?

A wrong is a wrong, opposite of right. Can't agree with your idea of Salman Butt and Younis Khan bowling and damaging pitch tactics. Pakis is a better team than instilling corrupt schemes and should play the game with the right spirit. Hope you are just joking!!

That was hard. I visited many times but didn't post.

Just to make you feel better I have 100% prediction failure record. 0 out of 5 at BanglaCricket.

1. Bd losing all games at Nat West.
2. Australia winning ashes.
3. Bd winning one ODI at SL.
4. Bd extending 2nd test match to a 4th day at SL. (cost me the most)
5. Eng winning test series at Pakistan.

That's it for me. No more prediction on anything. I will be the "King of prediction-failure" for ever.
