you cant just look at things from ur perspective.. i know they arent fair for us.. but for people who hv a lot of posts, they think its fair cause they hv advantage over us.. if contracts were random, they would want it this way cause they would be like "ohh but these people arent regular in BC so they dont deserve to hv a better contract than us, blah, blah".. so really we hv to come up with smthing everyone will agree on..

GUYS! I just thought of the perfect system. In the 1st season, everyone gets the same contract. then based on how you perform that season, you can get promoted to a better contract.
So for example, everyone starts out with a C contract.
If you average 35+ with the bat, you get promoted to B-
If you average 40+ with the bat, you get promoted to B
If you average 45+ with the bat, you get promoted to B+
If you average 50+ with the bat, you get promoted to A-
If you average 55+ with the bat, you get promoted to A
If you average 60+ with the bat, you get promoted to A+
If you average 65+ with the bat, you get the choice of being a captain the following season.
It would be the same sort of system for bowlers.
What do you guys think? This would make it much more fair!

I guess, however, if everyone has the same contract, they'll probably end up performing similarly (it is a computer program after all).
Really, there is no fair way to actually give contracts. However, it is true, that the current system rewards those who mindlessly post.
Another way would be to give those who have been bc members for longer a better contract, thus those who have been involved more in community are rewarded, however again, this really isn't that fair either.

this isnt fair cause there are some people who signed up like so long ago but rarely post and visit BC.. its not fair to newbies like me..

Well in most real cricket teams (except for BD) younger players usually have to prove themselves to go ahead of the senior player. For example: Gautam Gambhir. So it actually is pretty fair.

but the senior players have to keep performing too.. if the senior players dont perform (post) regularly, they would get kicked out of the team.. nvm bout Ash :P

For real!!! Ek means one run, dui means two. As long as we don't get run out, I'm sure we can bat together for at least 2 sessions.
