seems like my bengali frnds are too concern about our foreigner frnds regarding how they will pronounce "Bangabandhu" word whereas foreigners are hardly worried about it !

@why don't we all name ourselves bongobondhu while at it. Seriously, we never seem to get enough of this idolatry! As for the airport, seems a boondoggle at best. We need to fix our nationwide infrastructure first!

well, thanks your stars that your first President wasn't named Ashfaq. imagine what that would have been twisted into ! in a recent interview in US the interviewer had serious trouble staying sombre while interviewing the Pakistani army chief of the same name. or how about "eimatro paoa khbore jana gelo Navi'an president ABCD Bonn theke Hague'e gelen" (try repeating it to yourself without looking at the spelling)

as the saying in bangla goes, 'ek desher buli arek desher gali', don't worry too much about it.
