Actually, to be fair...south of the border is getting approx 100 cm of snow. And in the Toronto area we're getting 30 cm of snow.

US gets a lot more snow than us from what it seems. We get the chill, they get the snow. I'll settle for the chill any day.

Won it at my company's annual conference.

@ Kabir, ya it is. It's like winning an auction. And mainly because you are paying with pennies and spending about $10 in total! That's winning too.

More than half of America goes under snow, and they live through it day in, day out, so obviously they aren't sissy. They've been doing it for years. They are used to it. If anything it's the heat they are afraid of, at least in Cali.

On the other hand, my mom'd turn on the heater, every time it went under 70. We left Philly and Chicago for Cali, so we don't have to deal with snow. (Well me and my brothers could tbh. I was good at snow boarding. Now I don't even have a snowboard. That's why I moved near Tahoe) And in Cali, my parents can go "You are hot? It's only 100 degrees out side, in my country..." lord.
poor you.. now i see why you complain about the south asian lol.. i really hate the cold and hot weather. i'm now waiting for the spring season to start.

more like 30 cm. The schools closed cause the snow fell overnight and the blizzard was around 5 am . So highways were a mess. The timing caused the closure.

Kids never had it so good! Back in my day U of T St. George would only cancel classes scheduled after 5pm. Otherwise you relied on the efficiency of the TTC and the shovelled and salted campus streets to haul your behind into class!

What's with Bengali guest and their house observing? Huh? I am so glad I don't have to deal with that anymore. As soon as they step into a house, they storm right inside to check how many bedrooms we have, or how big are the bathrooms. None of your effing business! So many times they walked right into my room, and going through my closet. While I just sat there. Once they are done with the closet, they'd check the view on through the window. I am like 'umm who are you?'. They'd be like "hhaha you don't know me, I am your mom's cousin's neighbor's daughter's husband's co-worker, just found out about you guys and we were shocked to know that all that time we only live only 5 hrs away, so had to come, no"

Hahahahah...and in my case guys, when I was a kid back in my house...I struggled with grades a lot and my relatives/chachis/mamis/fufus will come visit us and first thing out of their mouth was let us see your report card...and I used to keep some potato chips under my study table and they would come uninvited to my room and go straight for the bag of chips, no excuse me nothing....they would eat my crisps and wipe their hands oil on my shoulder and ask me if I fail the final exam while spraying crushed chips on my face as they would laugh like ugly villains!!
