And Imam and Alems uniting and speaking against terrorists in BD, by doing that they are risking their lives now - the organizer of this petition, chairman of BD Jamayetul Ulama who is also the Khatib of Sholakia Eid-gah prayer ground (largest in BD) now on terrorists' hitlist. And already a failed attempt took place killing some security forces on Eid day. Now he had to go quiet to save his and his family's lives.

On a lighter note,
there are protest against Bangladeshi band "Miles" in India.
Hamin Ahmed was being himself and made lots of degrading comment against India, So now the Indians wont perform on the same stage with him.

Some of his comments include "India is the Rape capital of the world" ...." India is a Effed up country with effed up Government"...... etc etc...

Personally, I stopped listening to miles ever since I learned about Hamin Ahmed a while back. He posts conspiracy article from Jamaat inspired pages... he ridiculed the war crimes trial and made countless posts supporting the well known war criminals. ...

This clearly reminds me of one time when I was flying back from the Middle East, this 20 something Emirati girl wearing a beautiful pattern hijab on had 4 cans of beer with her meals on our way to Milan. She sat next to me and borrowed tylenols and gums from me. Anybody can drink, as an adult, it is an adult choice. I just found it very comical to see a girl who could be my daughter popping cheap cans of beer with a beautiful hijab on.

Another 4 university kids went missing from Banani yesterday. All over news today. Two seems to be from NSU. I hope these guys are found quickly by law enforcement agencies

When I was in NSU, Hizbur Tahri was recruiting students but it was then just only trying to brainwash and not in militancy mood. One of my good friends , an industrialists son changed in a few years and it was sad to see it but as far as I heard he was snapped out of it after he moved back to Chittagong. The problem is that these guys would hold discussions outside the campus and I think it is difficult to monitor students outside the camous. With the freedom of internet, it is even more difficult.

Anyways I want to understand from the religious minded folks in this forum,
What constitutes an insult to the prophet?


1/There are things done under his authority that I disagree with (even after being from a muslim background), so does that constitute insulting the prophet?
To further elaborate
1a/ If I say, I do not support beheadings even though it was a well accepted practice during the time of the prophet than is that insulting the prophet?
1b/ I do not believe adultery can be a justification for killing a person even though it is prescribed in Sahih Bukhari.
1c/ I do not support having multiple wives at the same time, there are other ways to help a women, should that constitute an insult to the prophet?
1d/ I am a big believer of age restriction for both men and women before they can be married, And I will never allow anyone as young as 15 to get married than is that insulting the prophet?

What Islam reminds me today is a Mafia organisation and muslims are mainly mafioso’s out there to ensure no one questions them. Any minor act of questions or accusations will result in death or banishment from society and from the country
