In South Asian countries yes. People think emotionally and considers few players bigger than the sports. But if you look at teams like Aust/Eng there is no place for emotion in sports. They let go players like Bevan, Hussey, McGrath, Gilly, KP etc. all in their relative primes. Hence they are such great cricket teams.

Which one of them was "inspirational" captain of their team?

You should not compare apple with orange.

But if you look at teams like Aust/Eng there is no place for emotion in sports. I CAN GIVE LOTS OF EXAMPLE OF EMOTIONS ON THE GROUND. WHERE DO YOU WANT ME TO START? WARNE? SYMOND? PETEIRSON? BROAD? They let go players like Bevan, Hussey, McGrath, Gilly, KP etc. all in their relative primes. Hence they are such great cricket teams.
Emotion on the field has nothing to do emotion out side the field. Emotion means fired up. You can see that in Kohli's eyes. The way Mash breathes confidence into others. Sammy propels his team, Warner takes Fizz under his wing on the ground. Pure emotion is everywhere in the cricket ground.

FYI: I do not believe in farewell tour, match etc. Everyone gets in via merit.

Here's something from one of your leading newspaper dailies.

In a heartwarming gesture Mashrafe Mortaza protects a pitch invader from security officials

This is what we are talking about . This is greatness. This is humility. This is class.
It comes from within, its not dependent on averages or form or wealth.

I dont really care how the Aussies or the English run their shops.
We are BD, and this is how we play.

Please emulate his feats on the field as well.
