Yes Bro, You are absolutely right. Islamic Banks claim that they are interest free, but this is a great lie. They are just like otherbanks, just Use the tag Islamic. Thats it, no difference.

There are actually some slight differences, at least in Bangladesh, such as:
1. Islami Banks do not apply compound interest, they charge a straight rate "profit".
2. Islami Banks do not invest their fund in interest earning securities.
3. As mentioned earlier, they do not promise a fixed return on deposits, rather they provide an estimated return.
The above does not make them 100% within the rules of Islam, however, it is not entirely like traditional banks either.
Islami Banks in Bangladesh blame Bangladesh Bank's regulations as the barrier to implement 100% Islamic Banking but my guess is, they could not actually devise an acceptable model of pure Islamic Banking that would be competitive and attractive to common depositors.

Chorer Mader ShobShomoyei boro gola- Look Our Hasina-Khaleda. But Sometimes Chorer MARAO say something true. There is only onething true of what she said ," Daridroke Lalon Kore Onek Kichu Orjion Kora Jai". Here Hasina has directly implied Dr Younus. Well It is true in the case of Shudkhor Dr Younus, but what has the politicians of Bangladesh has done to eradicate poverty?
The fact is that Politicians, Dr Younus all are in the same boat, "Nijer Akher Gochano", but the difference is that Our Noble Laurate is not Corrupted like the othere bostapocha BAL, BNP, Jamaat Politicians. Atleast we can expect something from him. But I can tell you, Dr. Younus will not receive a single vote. It is because of the nature of the bangladesh People, because when election will come, they will not understand anything except Nouka or Dhanershish.

Oh Yeah…sure, why not!!
It’s time to revert back to Islam to save my politician butt.
These Corrupt/criminal politicians always utter the name of Islam to hide their involvement in corruption and crime. Now they are using the same trick to fight the political reform effort which might effectively end their political career.
Just as an example of double standard: look at this photo
Nasiruddin Pintu- a prime symbol of our corrupt and criminal group of politicians. Just notice his forehead—he even created a black mark on this forehead by doing Sezda—Ah!! What a religious man. It is very much possible that he does his Banking only in those Islamic Banks…because he does not what to violate Islamic principles by taking Riba (Interest) !!
|
Bhai,
Corrupted but saying prayer- these are contradictory. It simply means that his prayer is not granted by Allah at all. And again, black mark in the doesnt necessarily imply that they say their prayer. Probably, he goes to the darbar oh his baba, and do sezdah their.
And yes, like you I cant tolerate when any politician use the name of ISLAM to hide their misdeeds. Theres no point of doing that.

AFAIK, House Building Corporation does not apply compound interest either.
And if they were really doing "business", they compound rate interest wouldn't be really wrong. In ordinary business, it is very natural add some part of the profit in the business capital.

Not only House Building Finance Corporation, all of the "Development Banks" like Shilpa bank, Krishi Bank etc. lend at straight rate interest (Btw* Grameed bank compounds). The difference is Islami Bank is a commercial bank and still does not compound. Among the several characteristics of interest, such as, being pre-defined etc. compounding is a very important characteristics.
Once again, I do not believe Islamic Banks are operating in a 100% Islamic manner, however, they have certain differences with other commercial banks that make their operations more "Islamic".

Who does not use interest here please raise your hand? Who did not take any loan, credit card in interest or put money in savings account. Interest is interest no matter it is compound or what. Is their anybody here?
All the Government in Bangladesh took money from world bank in interest. Midlle eastern banks are all over the worlds charging interest. Where are the mullahs?
Let me find a person who does not use interest at all. If you are Bangladeshi citizen you have about $255 that you owe to world bank. You are paying interest with your tax money(If you pay tax at all). If you want to be Islamic interest free pay off your national debt first.

Life without taking or paying interest is impossible in this modern world.
If you want to live without paying or taking interest, first of all, take you clothes off. Not because it's getting HOT in here, rather because the prices you paid for the clothing includes the cost of finance by the manufacturer. This goes to every aspect of modern life: cost of finance (interest) is included in virtually every product you sell or buy.
But wait, there is hope. You can think about living like this and have a life free of interest:
