*sigh*
Can anyone tell mewhy BOTH the upper and lower can not perform in synch ? If the top blooms (oh boy, they surely did), the tail spoils the shows or vice versa.
Another thing, guess who scored a fifty AFTER BEING DROPPED. Looks like we have to start taking this policy seriously. Drop a player for one match and bring him back - it works like MAGIC.
215 is GOOD. Could have gone 300 if not for Tusher and Rafiqul. Inexperience got the better of both. Why wasn't Golla in the team ? Anyways, I was fearing a 50-100 innnings. 215 is way over my expectations. 140 for 1 was just ....... I could cry now. Think of the possibilities.

in synch
yeah tehsin: because one end of the batting order is AL, the other is BNP. They have signed a pact never to work in synch, and they switch parties and therefore flip-flop at will. don't try to figure it out.

Tehsin bhai, you are suggesting to have 22 player team. That way we can rest 11 and play 11. And always both team comes of being dropped a game and each scores a half century.
Can we pull it off?

Not trying to undermine Hannan's efforts, he was aggressive and took the attack to the bowlers and it came off. However, he was dropped twice, once on 5 and again on 26 so we should acknowledge the element of luck that accompanied his innings. Had third slip held on to the catch when he was on 5, he would have looked just as ordinary as Tushar and Rafiqul and we would all be bashing him right now and demanding his removal. Sometimes, its all about a bit of luck.

"playing like one day, that does scare me!"
Heh! They never played like that in the one dayers...
btw, do you guys have televised coverage, or are you all following on cricinfo? Cos Al Sahariar was very unlucky to be given out by Harper- caught off his thigh pad, bat nowhere near. I think Australian umpires have to be blind in order to qualify...

Al Sahariar was really unlucky again, that's 3 times in a row. The ball went past his bat and hit his body and looped up to the fielder and was given out. The ball was no way near the bat or glove.
Tushar Imran is not a test batsmen, he is ducking to balls that go waist high and his dismissal was shameful, he ducked to a short ball but left his bat high up and it got an edge.

ONE DAY BATTING
We were doing great until the sleepy heads decided to take a NAP. This is unacceptable.
Our boys are out there working their butt off and you went to sleep ? Shame on you, the lot of you.

re:Dog
I was trying to say that our batsman play like one day match when they play test & play in slower pace when they play one day.
Look at SA run rate 3.55 and our run rate was around 5.
I will rather like them bat for two days make 300 at slower pace, shoot for draw the test.:P
