Pakistan v England
Looking forward to this.
The last time England went to Pakistan (they won), Pakistan prepared dry, flat and slow wickets and packed their side with spinners. As a result it was one of the most boring test series' ever. Thorpe managed to make a hundred with just one four and off 300 balls. I hope Pakistan don't do the same this time, and I am confident they don't.
I think it will be a battle of the bowling attacks. I don't think the batting for either side is overly convincing and I would back both of them to collapse at any time.
Your thoughts.....

I think England will have a Hangover from the Ashes but I won't predict a winner. If shoaib and Sami can get there act together it'll be tough for England.
In the ODI's I expect Pak to win but in the Tests it's more of a coin flip.

There is no doubt about the ODIs. England are poor at them
It would be great if England could exploit the substitute rule so Vaughan doesn't bat.....

Pakistan will take a beating this time and they know it. However Kaneria will trouble the English batsmen but he cannot win games by himself.

if shoiab and kaneria are on fire, england will need to play at the top of thier game.
Kaneria is a genuine tuner of the ball, and altlhough not in the league on warne, but hes still very good. But problem is for the pakistanis is the consistency, they dont perform in and out every game.
Theyve had a long rest from cricket, so they will be fresh but may be caught by the english

i think if shoieb shows the same form as in Austarlia, then England would be in trouble. I do not think England would get away after the opening Mcgrath and Warne created if Tait and Lee could utlize. Umar gul, sami and Razzaq could expolit if Shoeb and Kanaria give the opening. However England would still own Because pakistan has a crap batting order except Inzamam.

I am looking forward to Pietersen vs. Kaneria. Could be interesting.
I am expecting Flintoff to have a poor tour with the bat, but excellent one with the ball.

here is my take >> if england can tackle kaneria they will win the test series. they are stronger than 4 yrs ago when they won in pakistan. pakistan is almost same strength. for ODIs also i think england is favorite, they got some massive hitters as well bowlers who can reverse swing.chances are england 80% pakistan 20% both odi and test series.

I just hope the series is played with a spirit of sportsmanship and ppl don't blame each other cheating like what happened during the 2 W's era! I would definitely like to see Pakistan batting getting strong.
Pakistan needs strong performance from the youngsters in the likes of Imran Farhat, Taufeeq Umar, Younis Khan and even Shoaib Malik who looks likely to battle with Razzaq for the all-rounder position. Mohd Yousuf and Inzmam are the work horses of the team and they need to keep their form.
Bowling wise I'd like to see Danesh showing some patience and Shoaib and Sami showing consistency to support their words!

Same result like last time. ODI - Pakis will win, Test - England will win (Bell and AS must show up they are the key to the series victory).

Ian Bell played an innings today that shocked me.
In a 45 over match:
137 runs, 105 balls, 11 fours, 7 sixes
Scorecard
Get him in the one day squad!

Ian bell is the only problem in the middle order. I don't see him excelling in pakistan either. Thorpe would have been perfect there, but he is no more in the plans. Pakistan's batting is famous for collapse, so anything can happen.
