Russian Air Force Receives First New MiG-35 Fighters
Quote:
Russia’s Air Force has received its first delivery of two MiG-35 fighter jets, the corporation that manufactures the jets has said.
Air Force commander-in-chief Viktor Bondarev in 2017 announced the Defense Ministry’s plans to replace its entire fleet of light fighters with the MiG-35, a modernized version of the ship-based MiG-29K fighters which Russia has used in Syria.
“The first two aircraft have already been transferred to the Air Force for testing,” Ilya Tarasenko, general director of MiG, told the state-run RIA Novosti news agency on Monday.
The remaining four planes will be delivered by the end of the year, Tarasenko said. MiG expects to sign a new contract with the Defense Ministry for the planes, he added.

Bangladesh Navy receives final two Chinese-made Type C13B corvettes
Quote:
The Bangladesh Navy (BN) has received the two Shadhinota (Type C13B)-class corvettes it ordered from China in late 2015, according to a statement by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Bangladeshi military.
The two new 90-m long ships, which have been named Sangram (with pennant number F 113) and Prottasha (F 113), were handed over to the service on 28 March and arrived at the naval base in Chittagong on 27 April, said ISPR.
The ships, which are expected to enter service in the near future, are the third and fourth of the class. Both ships were built in Wuhan by China's Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group, with Sangram being launched in February 2018 and Prottasha two months later.
These vessels follow BNS Shadhinota (F111) and BNS Prottoy (F112), both of which were launched in Wuhan in late 2014 and entered service in March 2016, according to Jane's Fighting Ships .
However, images show that, unlike the first two ships of the class, the latest two appear to be equipped with a more advanced phased-array radar, which, according to the website sina.com, could be the SR2410C 3-D multifunctional radar, although no official confirmation has emerged.

The JF-17 is not MADE in Pakistan but assembled in Pakistan.
China obtains the engine from Russia and sends it along with other parts to Pakistan. The engine is the same as that used in MIG29 and is a horrible Russian engine! It requires too much maintenance and Malaysian air force decided to just get rid of their entire squadron of such engine fighters as it was proving costlier than the jets themselves. Even though China first made it, it's own PLA did not want it anywhere near it's air force. Thus, it sells it to poor countries like Burma.
