Good point. Tamim is getting too much lifeline purely based on past.
BCB is giving too much levetage to Mushfiq's selfish demand, they need to show some backbone and take away his wicket-keeping job.
Riyad is not a slogger. He takes too much time to adjust. His value comes as all rounder. If he is injured and cannot bowl, he shouldn't be in the team. About fitness of a player, BCB should stick with same principle, doesn't matter if the player is senior or junior.

After all such tours with regulars skipping, newbies get a chance to mingle with the mainstream coaches. That is the only positive.

The OP like Divas (as long they're Muslim). Nasir was one of the top Divas happened to have played for Bangladesh team, and he is fit again to play.

Reports are circulating that Mohammed Ashraful will play in the Sri Lanka series. But I don't believe
in this bias media or news b/c they are trying to fool the people.

What's so bad of not including Nasir. Shakib might skip the series so we will be a batsmen and bowler short. And our dumb selectors might select that naggin dance guy Opu or Fazle Rabbi but Nasir is the
best choice and he didn't play too bad in Dpl. He was playing with a injury that's why he didn't score well but right now he should be fit to play the upcoming series if he is called up to the national team.
He might be a diva but he is a outstanding fielder and he motivates the team just like Miraz. The problem is with his personal life.

Ya ... why not... what an innovative way to try to prepare for our 2023 WC .
I say why stop at Ashfarul? Why not bring back Aftab, Bashar and Nannu?
That's indeed a forward thinking suggestion.

Well the good news is they won't have Malinga to terrorize us anymore
Bad news is we might unearth a legendary talent from within Lanka's ranks they didn't even know they had

Good opportunity to give big roles to the next gen cricketers and see how they perform.
And man they really need to give Mehedi a proper opportunity to bat up the order.
Look what happened when Shakib batted at 3. We never expected he would put up these sort of performances at 3.
I don't see why not the same with Mehedi.

I would do:
1. Tamim
2. Soumya
3. Mehedi
4. Mushfiqur
5. Yasir Ali
6. Mosaddek
7. Saifuddin
8. Nayeem Hasan
9. Abu Jayed/Mash
10. Rubel
11. Fizz
Litton can't make it due to Marriage commitments. Shakib wants a break. Riyad has back/shoulder injury that he FULLY needs to recover from...
Take Nurul and Mithun as backup Keeper batsmen
Nayeem Hasan has it. he needs to be given more concrete opportunities to prove himself worthy.

Yasir, afif, nayeem do need opportunities.
Also depending on who they want to fill the mushy void, I’d suspect Nurul or zakir so I’d say for now give nurul chances where possible.
I’m still not sold on mehedi as a batsman and I’m not a fan of putting someone in the deep end when it looks like they’d drown. Not only could it give mehedi development issues but if it doesn’t work out it will have a big impact on the team as the #3 spot is pretty important to team performance.

I would give someone like Mosaddek a chance up the order and with Shakib skipping this series might want to pick Apu. We should make saifuddin bat at 7 or Miraz at 5/6, better strengthen our bowling.
Tamim
Soumya
Yasir
Mushy
Mosaddek
Shabbir
Saifuddin
Apu
Nayeem
Mash
Mustafiz
Infact, i dont mind bringing Anamul back. He has been performing well in A team series and DPL.

Is this tour still happening? If so, wow - so close to the end of WC. We haven't even recovered.
PS: Mash hasn't yet resigned, so expect him to captain the team.
