India cant afford to rest players for tge following reasons:

1) BD team is theoretically capable of beating full strength India
2) more importantly, India is in a tight tussel with AUS and NZ for #1 seed and the right to potentially play BD/PAK in an "easy semifinal". NZ has a great NRR, India does not, so they have to beat them on points outright
3) always a chance of a washout in future games

We need England to lose all 3 games that is 12.5% probability
We also need to beat Pak 55% probability
We also need SL to lose to SA and WI (50%)
And PAk to lose to NZ (80%)

That gives about 3% chance for us but assumign England is slightly wealer than NZ AUS and IND, we bump it to 5%.

Overall we have a 5% of making it to semifinals. Not higher than that.

We have at most at 20% chance of beating India. Not impossible, but Im assuming we lose. We might need to save our India felling for the final at Lords.

I think Bangladesh would should first concentrate on how their bowling will fare better. I know I said no negative thoughts, but while we are building an attacking plan to defeat them we should be realistic so that we can counter anything India puts up against us. If India scores 400 - go to bat with the mentality I will get 200 for the team, we can get this.

If we are restricted to 260 like CT, I want the team to think we will defend this knowing our limitations with the ball, maybe 2 run outs will change the game. Maybe I will run Kohli out and stump Rohit the next ball. Anything can happen right?

What I am saying is, we need to plan so well for this game, that we are never behind India. We must have plan A, plan B, plan C and plan D and then backup plans. This is the biggest game of our lives, the biggest game in Bangladesh's history till now. In future, sure you can say there will be bigger games. But till now this is the biggest game. Win it for Bangladesh and you can live as a hero for generations and generations, because everyone remembers the world cup. What you do in a world cup will define your cricketing career, everything else can be forgiven and forgotten. But a World Cup hero will last forever. Want the cricketers to know and think that as well.

In terms of game plan, I feel our Batting is in very very good touch. I would like to concentrate on fielding and be in top shape before the game, and I want to come up with concrete bowling plans and work on it before the game continuously. So that everyone is aware of what needs to be done each and every ball. All the 300 balls need to be planned, this is a game we need to be 100% PERFECT in. This is how hard and crucial it is.

I think they played that match on a practice pitch at one end of the square. So, boundary on one side was too short(50 meters or less than that). History says it's a high scoring ground not dissimilar to most other English grounds.

I am an Indian fan but not hopeful of our teams chances. This is a bad team and Kedar Jadhav and Vijay Shankar should not be anywhere near the Indian team. Dhonis place is debatable.

Dhoni brings his a game when he plays against Bangladesh though.

I think it will be a good game. Expect controversy too. I think BD vs Ind is more exciting than Ind vs Pak these days

TBH saw some BD news clips of how BD team can take action against Aleem Daar

Shanto said it right, ICC will do diddly against any umpire. Umpiring gets poor in Big tournaments against us.

Big thanks to IPL for benching Shakib. Rabada, Steyn, Rashid, De Kock, Russel all look fatigued/injured

Can Tamim play an innings like BPL 2019 final and give India the long deserved প্যাদানি?

The catch against Liton was debatable as a large chunk of that was on the ground and some fingers of one hand were only under the ball. The 3rd class umpire took along time to look at that and the more you see replays the more doubt

Also Sarkar's out could have been given not out by the on field umpire and hawkeye said just clipping which IMO happens although usually against us. However, there was no snickometer and the ball did go very close to the bat.

And there is the usually wides which dont go in our favour batting or fielding
