Mark my words, this will be a competitive series and if Mash and Musta are on fire, Bangladesh might get its first series victory in SL. Last time the ODI was 1-1 and I don't see a reason to believe that Bangladesh is worse now. SL may produce seaming tracks and that will be interesting ...

I think they ll prepare wickets that suit Herath (For Tests). He alone can pick all the wickets for SL. They even relied on him against Zimbabwe.

They won't never do that I can promise you that..we have mustafiz and miraz, this two combo is good enough to take 16 wickets out of 20.. rest sakib will eat it up.

Trust me, they will do everything in their powers to make pitch suitable for Herath. Almost like a one man attack.
They will run a greater risk by not preparing a spinning wicket, than worrying about Miraz or Shakib.

A pitch suitable for Herath by default will be a pitch suitable for us.
Now that they don't have Sanga, Jaya and Dilshan we won't have to worry about them treating our bowlers like trash.

That will suit us as well. I think Shakib is a better SLA than Herath, at worse he is equal. Miraz is handy, and Fizz will like a pitch with grip and turn as well. He was getting "bounce and turn" according to commies in NZ wickets! Even most spinners don't get that in NZ.
But Herath, Dilruwan, and the biggest threat Sandakan will be lethal together on such tracks. I think Sandakan will be the next great spinner in world cricket.
Will make for a very competitive series! Bring it on.

Series should've consisted of 3 tests and 5 ODIs.

Nice to see you Imran. Wish you a very happy and prosperous rear in 2017

Ditto
Seaming pitch might be a boomerang for SL ?

What's the latest on this tour? Has there been any official announcement to confirm this tour going ahead?
