Anyone with a basic understanding of the game and masochistic enough to actually sit through some of our barely to non competitive domestic matches, guilty, should know that stats accumulated there can no way indicate how they may fare in the competitive, high pressure environment of international cricket. Yes, the gap in quality *IS* that monumental. In fact those stats without context can be misleading as they often have been. A guy like Nazimuddin can score double hundreds there, case closed. Anyone with a bare minimum understanding of the game, actually playing the game at a moderately competitive level can help, would've known that Nazimuddin is crap just from the way he holds his bat. I understand there are better players, ie those who hold their bats well, who don't score as many as logic suggests, but that's an issue for shrinks.

Our domestic games are rarely on TV so one must rely on reports for context. Sadly, our so called sports reporters in both languages never provide the kind of context we need to assess how good a player actually is. We only see a narrative account of of the available stats with zero description of the action out there. We know who scored how many runs or hauled how many wickets without knowing "how" or under which circumstances. That would be real work and may actually require them to be physically present at the match. They also don't seem to learn anything about contextual match reporting from real reporters in CI and other foreign journals even though they get regularly published in CI as our token representatives. They're soap opera writers, not real reporters doing their duty. This is fraud they get away with simply because they write English or Bangla well without bothering to describe the action. Disgusting!!!

So yes, both Razzak as well as Farhad should not be in the team.

Ideally Zia should have been in the team instead of Farhad, Riyad taking Razzak's role ( bowling and batting) and you bring back Momin in the team.
Agree I hope they listen to us and at last tader tonok nore, otherwise what can we do?

There is no scope for anyone to listen. Teams cannot be changed per rules unless someone is injured. Our only hope is Tonya Harding.

If he was selected for a 'Twenty20' tournament based on '4 Day First Class' performances then the selectors should not have a job anymore
